Some1 go watch the Lara-Williams fight, and if u see that same guy with "THE HAT" then you know somethings fishy.
'You get to close and i'm gonna push you fam, i can't be taking them hard body and head shots init. Got Mayweather up necks'.
Khan is extremely competitive and ambitious. One of the things i like about him. Anyone who has those attributes and is willing to fight anybody gets my respect. Whatever technical or character flaws he may have. (And say it quietly, on the sly Amir is actually a VERY decent kid, slightly dim but very amiable).
If khan's appeal is upheld and he gets the Ibf belt back, will he give lamont a rematch? I suspect not.
more to the point will bet365 ask for there 600 quid i wont when i had 30 quid on peterson on points?
Ta. Was it the reference to yourself as 'knowledgeable' that got me the seal of approval? I still insist that cowardly is not right term to describe his conduct. It suggests that Khan is unwilling/afraid to attempt to reclaim his old titles in the ring. 'Dickish' or even '****ish' would be more appropriate. Granted, none of the aforementioned has tried to have decisions overturned. It doesn't make their conduct any less deplorable, or any less worthy of criticism. Besides I don't think any of them would've had grounds to appeal; whilst I don't believe that there was anything dodgy about the result, (I personally had Khan shading it without the points deductions and bogus kd), one or two strange goings-on in conjunction with the points deductions have convinced Khan that he has been jobbed. So to reiterate I don't think his conduct has been 'cowardly', I think he's been coaxed (probably willingly at some level) into adopting a victim mentality. So in short I think he's deluded. Case solved. Now we should all quit giving his grievances so much coverage.
I don't blame Peterson if he walked away from a rematch, the way Khan's behaved is appalling. Such a lack of class shown from not only Khan but whole team and GBP. Peterson's been treated with disregard for the most part from the initial discussions for a bout in UK to the fight and aftermath. Khan's only gave a bit of credit and that's followed by more complaints. Backhanded compliments for a guy who fought his heart out. A great aspect that gets overlooked as a champion is being humble, Khan's plea's and crying has come across terribly and maybe IMO if he was humble he wouldn't be making these stupid errors in and outside ring..
Maybe what fighters say doesn't bother me as much as it does others, let alone what they tweet (is that the right termanology?). lol
He can state all he wants, but if he gets the belts back I have the suspicion it won't be the "right" time for the fight and that Peterson needs to "earn" another shot.
Khan is a warrior and will honor his word, Peterson will get his rematch even if Khan gets his title back.
