i found the bradley peterson fight more entertaining even though it was a lot wider, the khan fight imo was **** khan ran too much
Khan wasn't running, he was trying to create space to get his shots off. As Peterson proved Khan has no inside game, but I wouldn't call it running, khan was hit alot by Peterson and involved in a lot of exchanges. I wouldn't call that running.
The pictures you see in the press of the "scorecard" are actually the consolidated scores as maintained by MW. Other than handling the score slips Hatman is also seen passing a note down the line
it was a decent scrap, but be honest, Khan did run backwards for most of the fight, from round 3 onwards, theres no 2 ways about it!
What do you mean outclassed. He fought back for half a round after getting knocked down. He showed he was equal to Bradley in that half a minute, and there was nothing else to prove, so he coasted the rest of the fight, as all great fighters do. Can't wait for a rematch and the next half a round. Also any fighter who takes a single step backward is a runner.
Yer, moving backwards, trying to create distance to get his own shots off. Amir Khan is a lot of things but isn't afraid of a fight. Call moving backwards 'running' if you want, but in my books running is somebody who is trying to avoid a fight through fear of getting hit, and like we saw Amir aint scared of getting hit and got hit plenty. Blame Freddy Roach for not teaching Amir an inside game which led to a lot of backpeddling trying to create room to punch.
Was about to mention this. If Amir Khan was 'running' vs Peterson Then SRL vs Hagler, SRL was a great runner than Usain Bolt
