Although you are probably talking out of your backside, it could end up being true for the simple reason that there is no tv channel decided yet. One would have thought that it was automatically going to be Primetime PPV but it isn't, so maybe Team Khan are having a think......

People obviously jump to conclusion too quickly.... After he went to Primetime soo many people said that the relationship with Khan was completely tarnished, but the amount of times he has featured on SSN and Ringside would say otherwise.

I think they're open to anyone really, hope it's Sky though.

COULD Amir Khan be about to team up again with Frank ******?

Khan hasn't worked with his former promoter and manager since he made the first defence of his WBA light-welterweight crown against Dmitriy Salita in December 2009.

Their contract expired and Khan decided it was time to go global as he hooked up with US promoter Golden Boy and went Stateside.

In contrast to ******'s bitter splits with Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe, which ended up in court, his parting from Khan could hardly have been more amicable.

Both sides were smart enough to know that they may need each other in future and wisely parted on good terms.

That looks particularly clever on ******'s part because Khan could link up with him again, only this time as his broadcaster rather than promoter.

Khan has not agreed a deal with a UK TV station for the rights to show his clash with Lamont Peterson on December 10 in Washington.

Pay-per-view channel Primetime have shown his last two fights against Zab Judah and Paul McCloskey, but the Athens silver medallist wants to weigh up all the options before making a decision.

That's opened the door for ****** who has just launched his own TV channel called BoxNation.

As well as showcasing his own stable of fighters, ****** wants to screen top fights from around the world and Khan says he is prepared to listen to what he can offer.

"We know that Sky are great at what they do," said the WBA and IBF light-welterweight champ. "Primetime have also been great and they have been very good at what they've done.

"We've even got BoxNation now. I was watching their station the other day and they're doing well. So you've got a few players there.

"Primetime showed the Mayweather fight against Ortiz. It's good to speak to all of them. It's good to know the business a little bit more. I stayed out of it before, but now I'm more involved.

"We'll see where we go, but we should know in the next week or so."

It's interesting that Khan also mentioned Sky after he split with them in a huff before the McCloskey fight.

Sky's boxing big guns were all at Khan's London press conference with Peterson on Tuesday, perhaps preparing the ground for him to come back.

So it appears while Khan's rivals at light-welterweight, like Timothy Bradley, keep avoiding him, the TV companies are falling over themselves to get him.
