Sad news, the only silver lining is maybe someone decent can come in at short notice. How about Ajose Olusegun?

Random drug testing is a good thing.

Gotta get rid of these cheats.

Who is to say now that Peterson did not use substances in the first fight which was a career best performance in front of his home crowd when the pressure was on him vs the strong fav Khan?

The jump from his previous fight vs Ortiz which I thought he lost was quite a difference.

He was probably juicing for the first fight as I doubt he decided after their last bout where he won, I need a bit of extra help to beat Khan next time.

Floyd and random testing vindicated. Still though people will claim leave it up to the commissions and there pathetic testing.

    Spurious.

-How did extra testosterone help him fight the right fight?
-How do you know he didn't have difficulties this time and felt he needed help? A lot of people saying he was massive, so maybe after losing a lot of weight he needed help to train?

I'm not making excuses for him (I'm no fan of Lamont's, moreso of Khan) but to write off the last fight is ridiculous IMO, we don't know what T/E ratio he's posted, nor 100% whether it IS testosterone yet! :good

Didn't this random test come from outside the Olympic board? I.e the commission have done it off their own backs?

Just like the Nevada state commission caught Overeem? Don't post on things you know nothing about.

Is that the same commission who painted overeem as a victim once he was caught?

Regardless of what they said the right thing was done.

Victim? They revealed he tried to flee the scene, that his doctor had previously been caught selling 'roids over the web, and threw his technicality plea straight out. I agree they said 'we don't think you're a 'roider' and that was stupid but he got punished nonetheless....don't forget, money talks, and they (eventually) said goodbye to that $$$$

You're just playing Devils Advocate!! Anyway why would someone just decide to use PEDS after a fight in which they won it naturally!! It is well known PEDS would help him absorb more punishment and recover quicker!!

I just can't see him deciding to use PEDS for the first time in this training camp. I would put serious money on that he used PEDS for the first fight and he's probably thought '' **** it '' I'll risk using em' for this fight even though there is random testing.

I'm not sure how 'dangerous' it is. Unfair? Definitely.

Again, 'why'? As I said, maybe he had an awful training camp this time.

How good are Bradley and Ortiz? They had far little hassle with the TRT using Lamont if that's the case. Just Khan that loses to him.

Khan only just lost to him aswell!!

The point I am trying to make is why would Petersen risk using something he has never used before and not knowing if it would work when there is random drug testing. I reckon he used them for the first fight and knowing they worked last time, he risked using them for this training camp if that makes sense.
