Khan brings in Ruben Tabares, David Haye's s&c coach at last minute

i've been wanting to make a thread on ruben tabares' methods for quite some time but always forget so i'll just post them here now. he puts fighters on a no dairy product diet, now as a fighter you need dairy products as the calcium give you strong bones. now its no coincedence that in haye's fight with vitali he had to pull out due to injury then he broke his toe for the fight with vitali. now same thing is happening with george groves as he has had some recent hand problems and pulled out of a couple of fights with injuries due to broken bones. the diet he puts fighters on will get you into good healthy shape and you will feel fit, i know because i've tried it, but it weakens your bones and vastly increase your chances of an injury. his methods are all wrong for boxing.

 

That interviewer is so clueless, he referred to Wlad as VItali in the vid above, and previously he asked George Groves if he would be pushing for a fight with Amir Khan :rofl

 

Yes a diet without any calcium would be not very good at all.. But, I doubt very much the diet is without, just that the calcium is provided by another healthier food.. As for the claims that both haye and groves have broken limbs due to this diet - quite a bold statement imo.

I like how people criticise others when they've never stepped foot into a ring professionally or trained at the intensity that Khan, or any other fighter has.
