I have heard reports this week Amir Khan has urged Zab Judah to fight him at 140lbs , however i think this is way too soon for a good (could be great) young champion.

Zab for all his bravado and talk outside of the ring , can really back that up , and for me is one of the most talented boxers of the past 20 years .

He isnt a big welter , and with the right camp could make a 140lb fight . He is fast , hits hard and has lost only once at 140, OK we know when that was and who knocked him out but Khan is no Tzsyu.

Back to Khan , his best options are to defend against mandatories , and grow into a champion, learn whilst in the Roach camp , and fight the great names at the right time , and now is not the time for a Judah fight.

    Any thoughts?

Agreed, Roach would be foolish to allow this.

Khan would batter Judah, Zab doesn't have it anymore.

First shot Judah lands will knock khan out. He can't last 30 seconds.

Khan would easily defeat Judah. Judah was never a great fighter, but he has lost something physically and mentally since the early 2000s.

If only Judah would hire Nazim to train him:( Then we could see a ressurection of the old Zab:(

    Anyway Zab would destroy Khan.

    Zab is shot to pieces.
He would get schooled, provided of course, that he doesn't catch Khan.

It totally depends on what Judah has left. If he has something left then this would be too soon for Khan and Judah would ko him. If Judah has slipped a lot then Khan would beat him. I can't see this fight happening right now but if it does I think Judah may have slipped enough to see Khan winning.

Khan is having a holiday and has yet sat down yet to discuss what he wants to do. All stories so far about opponents are entirely speculation

Khan hasn't tightened his defence up enough to take on someone like Judah, faded or not. If someone like Limond can hurt Khan, I shudder to think of what Judah could do, even at this stage of his career. Some people argue that Khan's chin has improved as he's gone up in weight, but I'm still very dubious. He should get more experience under his belt and keep focusing on his defensive skill for now.

for the first 4 rounds it will be close, if zab catches khan then he could be in trouble, but if khan gets past that then he will take it away in the second half of the fight.
