Khan calls out maidana

Despite what some people are saying i do believe the Khan-Maidana fight fight will happen next.

For starters isn't Maidana Khan's mandatory? Khan has already by passed him once mith the Paulie fight so i don't think he can put him of much longer or he will be stripped of his title.

I know some people gave Khan **** for fighting Paulie over Maidana but i think it was to do with giving Khan a known, credible but winnable fight on his American debut. The Maidana fight is obviously winnable for Khan as Maidana is as basic as they come but if Khan had out boxed Maidana for most of the fight but then got KO'ed on his American debut then you can kiss goodbye to any HBO headlining nights for the foreseeable future.

However, now with Paulie out of the way and with Khan having that extra training camp with Roach helping tighten up his defenses, Khan's team probably feel that he is ready for Maidana now as they will feel that Khan is sufficiently equipped to out box Miadana for 12 rounds now.

In an interview just before the Paulie fight Roach himself even said that he wanted Maidana next should Khan come through Paulie.
