Reminds me of how boxers sometimes throw their rear hands in cross stance matches. The trajectory is out of the immediate line of sight.
Ballsy move from Khan if it happens. I can foresee a scenario where Khan outboxes Lucas, but I think it's very slim. Lucas is an animal.
Lucas was hurting Ajose all night with his left hook. If he lands one on Khan....they'll need to bring in a broom and dustpan.
:think you mean a very brutal choice for khan to bow out of the sport if khan somehow wins i can guaranter the people who froth at the mouth and have unconditional hate for khan will say mathysee is overrated..alexander and judah beat him etc etc
Well, would that not be the case? How many ktfo's/losses is it going to take to prove that Khan truly is not "all that"? So if he beats Matthysse, it very well would indicate "overrated". By the way, no way Mathysse fights Khan before getting his title shot, that is unless Jose decides to screw him over also.
That's one of the reaons why, two fights ago, I favoured Khan. That, coupled with the fact that Matthew was less in-your-face. He liked to take his time and box a bit. Things have changed considerably since, though. Khan's confidence is low, and Matthew has turned into a right spiteful *******. Those robberies he's experienced have only served to create a far more aggressive fighter.
Oh, and Khan really needs to think before opening his mouth. He himself may want to fight Matthew, but when gets home and his management/promoters say "no you're not fighting him, you madman", he's gonna' have to at some point retract his calling out of Matthew, and end up looking like a *****.
He does the talk as if he's his own promoter. I guess GBP could make it happen if they wanted Khan to die. Richard has said he has a 4 fight plan etc.
It was speaking to you that convinced me that Khan was suited to Matthyse and I agree things have changed.I do see what Thawk's saying about LMM not throwing looping punches, but the more I see of him,his punches look like nothing in that they can travel a very short distance and appear pretty tame but by the point of impact, they're absolutely dripping in venom.Short lefts that look like they're only controlling distance are actually proper bombs. I also think people are forgetting that LMM's priority should be to get a shot at Garcia now,so why should he go in against Khan when he's in line for a belt? In a way I don't blame Amir for doing it,but he has this way of suggesting that his team have offered fights but always says "he doesn't want it" as if they're running scared.I think the truth is that most people would love a shot at Amir if the time and money is right. No one will be ducking him anymore, and that could work in his favour.
