Regarding Matthew and Garcia, I think WBC's new demands may drop the chances of that happening. Apparently, they're not allowing their belt-holders to hold other belts alongside theirs. Garcia will have to make a choice between the WBA or the WBC title he's holding. I have a feeling that, in order to keep their new 140 stars away from each other and remain on their current hot form/run, Golden Boy will instruct Garcia to drop the WBC - making it vacant for Matthew to pick up against someone else. They'll end up having two LWWs with a strap each.

I know Amir isn't as highly regarded by the WBC as he is(or was) by the IBF.
Who would you see going in for the vacant belt then? Haven't looked at the rankings since long before Ojose lost.Who's next?
If Erik puts in a half decent performance against Garcia,I wouldn't be surprised if he's right in the mix,and much as I love Morales,it's very wrong IMO.

I'm not sure. Had Garcia have dropped the title earlier, it would have been on the line last Saturday. But now that Ojose has been beaten, I'm not sure. I wouldn't be surprised if it does become Morales :-(. They were due to fight each other last year for the title, weren't they? Until Matthew pulled out with an injury and in stepped Cano.

It certainly wouldn't be Khan. That I know.

 

He can say all he wants in the public eye but what he does with his camp behind closed doors is a different story. People are too gullible.
