In the paper today apparently if you withdraw from bidding process you can't fight for the title for a year. BB rules.

Looks like Khan will never win Brit title as in a years time he would be so far ahead of British title.

He will NEVER be the real world lightweight champion until Juan Diaz moves on to bigger things. Diaz is p4p the best pressure fighter in the sport.

Khan could comeback after he's been on the world stage for a shot at the british title. I dont think at the moment he'll be losing sleep over not winning it en route.

Khan's promoters know the rules so would have been aware of the consequences of pulling Khan out of contention for the British Title.

Ready made excuse now as he will probably be prevented from challenging for a year anyway!

Khan's an overhyped meal ticket for Frank Warren. I hope he gets knocked out in his next fight by the feather fisted Dane.

How far off is Thaxton from being Khan's mandatory for the commonwealth then?? or has Khan vacated already to fight for this inter-constipation strap?
