How about you fight him and you can be the judge of that.

Of course he can punch, clean KO's are becoming less common these days because referees are stepping in earlier before it gets to that to protect fighters.

You're a damn moron, of course he can punch. Not everyone has David Haye or Julian Jackson-type power.

A TKO is much much much more common than a legit KO these days, as fights are never allowed to go that far, and most guys can't lay someone out cold.

Hard to judge against Gomez who could probably take punishment all night if the ref didn't step in. In Khan's defence he destroyed Graham Earl who previously went 5 epic round's with Katsidis so i think Khan can punch he just has a **** defence!

khan can punch, u myt not have seen him fight at all. like its been sed, its hard to score clean ko'z against fighters especially if the come to survive and have there hands glued to there face through out the fight.

he scores tko'z because the ref can see his opponents dont want nemore and aren't retaliating so he has to stop them. khan has good power but he's obviously a boxer working on his slickness, and not relying on ko punches.

Those aren't stricly one punch KOs that he's saving, those accumulative TKOs.

One punch KOs aren't really expected.

I'm not talking about one punch KO's, I'm talking about clean KO's in general.

People need to give Khan a break. For such a young age he is showing very good signs of becoming a future great. In my opinion much of his defensive problems comes because he is too reckless, but his offensive side is spectaculor. Can he punch? Well, if having the ability to turn a fight around with a well placed shot is the question then yes. Having many shots line up perfectly is damn well splendid. :good

Are you joking? Watch the Earl fight again, he was getting battered with left and right hands and you could see he didn't know where he was, his eyes looked like they were rolling back.

The stoppage yesterday I thought was a bit premature at first, probably because I was enjoying the fight and wanted it to continue, but on second look I think it was fair because he got caught with a long combination before and a big right hand that sent him sprawling to the ropes and he'd taken a lot of big punches throughout the fight.

Khan clearly has slightly above average power at best. This has been proven before in performances where he needed to hit weak chinned opponents with a ton of flush shots before taking them out and yesterday it was even more obvious. Gomez had a weak chin at SFW and was pretty much shot. At 135, Khan had to hit him with everything he had to take him out.
