lol and how do u come up with that? maidana CAN be outboxed, kotelnik proved that and yes khan beat kotelnik - EASILY! Ortiz was stopped by khan in the amateurs and also doesnt have the heart khan has. As for the other champs time will tell, but seriously u need to back up ur statements with arguments otherwise u just look stupid :hi:
yes, khan did beat kotelnik easily but kotelnik doesnt hit like maidana, i think if maidana landed flush on khans chin he would stop him.
hed have to chase him first. ur right IF maidana hit flush he probly will ko him, but i think khan can counter punch maidna all day long as hes a very forward type fighter.
Anyone who can bang can KO Khan. Prescott was evidance of that But Roach is making sure Khan won't be there to get hit. Khan will throw combo's, move in and out like Manny does.
He should fight Urango. PRO'S -IBF Title -Fairly easy to outbox -Slow of foot and hand -Hatton was able to 'outbox' him. CONS -Seriously hard hitter -Granite chin -Doesn't stop coming -Does Khan have the strength of Hatton to keep Urango from firing his bombs? Khan should fight Urango. People would be hard pressed to accuse him of 'ducking' Maidana and it isn't as risky; there's an IBF title in the mix. Personally I think Urango's superior strength and power would show late on in the fight, Khan's ear airtight guard will wilter under the attack. Good clash of styles though :good
nor do i, but having said that i dont think that means hell lose to maidana. I think hes good enough to hit and move, but i think roach would have taught him well enough the art of a solid defence, by the time they fought
I think urango would be a bad choice of fight, he just walk through khans punches and close him down. Khans best bet would be jab and move all night if he wanted to beat urango.
**** off you clown. Maidana might beat him but it would have to be a lucky punch as Khan would outbox him. He would beat the **** out of Alexander. Id have Khan outpoint Bradley and the Urango one is up in the air at the moment. He would beat Ortiz handy. Also im not a huge Khan fan so shut up with these bull**** threads.
Urango would be ideal, getting the IBF title means a shitload of undeserving, frankly bull**** mandatories, Warren will love that :nut Not sure Amir has the tools to win that one though - Hatton outboxed Urango, using footwork and angles, Khan's footwork isn't in the same class, and he isn't as big a puncher either. Most of the time when Urango started getting going, Hatton was able to discourage the big man.
This thread was started with an ultra basic premise that Khan cant stay at Light Welter because its too dangerous, but theres no easy way to go for Khan, if he steps back to 135 hes got Guzman, Romanov, (Marquez in a few months) and a few other dangerous guys .. He cant go to 147 as thats loaded with proper talent too .. Khan's speed will be a problem for anybody in any division but the thing is the 'top talent' arent as robotic and 1 paced as Kotelnik. I like the fact that Khan will never have an easy career because hes in divisions that will always have depth, this isnt going to be a Calzaghe type career, were he ends up unbeaten but everybody still has underlying questions about what kind of champion was he .... When the Khan career is over the picture will be alot clearer than Calzaghe, he'll either be viewed as a true champion who took on dangerous fighters who werent over the hill or he'll be a guy that will be remembered as a fighter with speed and fine skills but was found out by top fighters with ring savvy ....
