Just looking at the Sky Sports boxing tv schedule on there web site. The Excel card of Cook vs TBA and Khan vs ***an as well as Oscar/Pac are listed as PPV on sky box office. I assume there will only be one fee, which makes it a little easier to swallow but it doesn't compare well to Setanta and there line up of fights included with monthly fee.

i wouldnt mind paying for setanta for the odd fight, but they charge a start up fee which is stupid, plus they seem from what alot of people say, money grabbers, cutting off at 3am, not letting people watch fights, saying go to another channel thats not even there. Rounds cut out in fights. Bad commentary hmmmm, complaints never get sorted out. Sky is pricey, but im happy with em.

More than happy to pay the PPV this time round. Pac-Man, Juan M Lopez, Ortiz. The British card is one of the best ive seen in a god damn long time, so its all good.

Setanta are making Sky look silly at the moment.

    Long may it continue.

To be honest I've experienced none of the above.

I've got Setanta through Sky and it's not a problem. I believe people with freeview have had problems though.

I don't think it's too bad. I remember paying for Hopkins-De La Hoya!! It looks like a decent FW card for once. Hopefully we get the Rogan and Small fights too.

Ahhh it might be ok for me. They should just charge £5 or something for 1 night of boxing. with no start up fee.

Guys spend £150 or so and get a basic satellite receiver with a motorised dish. All these fight you can then get for free.

Broadcast rights to these fight are bought by foreign television companies. These are broadcat via a feed, if you search about you can find the feed. Otherwise just watch the foreign channel that is showing the fight. eg Saturdays JC RJJ fight is on Polsat Sports. Tune into polsat at 13E with a patched receiver and you can watch for free.

Its not overly technical once installed.

Yes but to be honest with you I never really likes commentary as all commentators do is talk ****. Last week I heard a commentator say if you have a bull like head then you can take a good shot. Duke McKenzie. Barry M etc etc all talk **** till the cows come home.

If it on foreign channel then I do not understand and dont get irate at the **** they are talking.

Plus on Polsat before every fight they show Andrew Golota fights and talk about them for an hour or so before the main event. The Haye Enzo fight was on Polsat as well. The Hatton PBF fight was free on a german channel.

i've got setanta through Bt Vision. Bit pissed off you only get the 1 channel (I used to like those shitty golf products on the Golf Channel guaranteed to improve your game!) but it's got all the main stuff. Think I had to switch channels for the Haye Enzo do (was that on very late? if not the Calzaghe Hopkins one), they tell you which to turn to and it just carries on. Bit of a parp but one clap of thunder and my SKY used to go down and not come back up for hours. Wish I had a bird like that...................

i cant see how people can complain for paying for this event

we have the biggest fight of the year on paper (pac dela hoya), hottest ko artist (juan ma lopez), two world title fights from the uk (enzo mac and nicky cook), khan v ***an and harrison v rogan

now thats two great ****ing cards frank warren gets a lot of stick but fair play to him for this, i have a feeling the card would only have one of these 4 fights had carl froch not been fighting on the same night
