Amir Khan landed 2-4 punches at Kristjansen, while Kristjansen was down on knees.

Why didn't Mickey Vann take a point away from Khan? is he corrupt?

It wasn't within the rules of boxing, so technically it was assault. He should have been arrested, cuffed, and spent the night in police a police cell.

they could just give him an asbo which forbids him from coming within 500 metres of a featherfisted fighter?

It should have been a point taken off, purely blatant, Khan seemed pissed that he took a knee.

Totally agree, but not many people on here share that opinion, which bemuses me.

I think pretty much everyone agrees with this. The last shot on the first knockdown definately should not have been thrown and could have resulted in a points deduction. Who's disagreeing?

Reading an earlier thread someone suggested Khan should have been penalised and it seemed to me that he was ridiculed for holding this opinion.

I didnt see the fight, but if this occurred as described it must be addressed.
Khan must be accountable for his actions with the appropriate consequences adminstered.
    Possibilities:
    --- No Contest,
    --- Disqualification,
    --- Suspension,
    --- Fines.
Also, the competency of the officiating must be addressed as well.
All fighters must compete within the rule framework.
    Impartiality cannot be ignored.

You missed "hung, drawn and quartered".

As someone who has seen the fight it was a point deduction, nothing more.
