The American commentators were on top of it straight away. I thought it was going to be a technical decision but Hunter was pulling him anyway and that was enough.
It’s hard to explain really. Dropped in the first. 2nd and 3rd were a bit short of action. Khan done well to survive the 4th. 5th he was dominated again. 6th he weren’t going to survive and then the “low blow” happened. I don’t think Khan was ever in the fight. The way people say he was ahead against Canelo, there was not a chance he was ahead at any point during this.
Mismatch from start to finish. Khan on wobbly legs a few times. dropped once. Crawford taking his time. as soon as he starts going for the kill Hunter asks if Khan wants to continue after a low blow ( which was really a punch to the thigh) and Khan says no. Looks like you can add 'quitter' to Khans CV now lol.
This. Khan's hand speed is not what it was, still faster than most, but he has slowed down. I was expecting him to win the first couple of rounds before Crawford took over to win the fight, but he wasn't in the fight at all, Khan is shot, needs to quit now before he hurts himself.
1) It was a lowblow and such a blatant one too that merited a point off. 2) Clearly Khan took the easy way out because if he truly didn’t want to quit he would have taken the 5 minutes. 3) Khan rallied very well. From what I saw there I’m pretty sure he’d break Brook’s eye sockets again. 4) That bogbrush BT presenter is a total ***** who has never had a fight in his life.
