hmmm if Khan was to win (which of course is a high chance), I can only see him doing it by outboxing him to a UD. I agree with you in that he can and will make him look bad, but stopping him is beyond the capabilities of Khan. Just look at the Ortiz fight, it seemed as though after every knockdown he suffered, Maidana just came back stronger. Ortiz has hellish power in both hands, but it still wasn't enough to make Maidana's respect him. The guy was a beast that night, and I for one will be very interested to see if Khan can deal with him

Honest opinion? What do you think will happen if Maidana catches him with a good shot? I can't see khan finishing him early and I also can't see him not getting caught with a good shot from him.

Good fight. I think people hate oh this kid because of his race. I mean middle eastern people are not looked upon highly in this world. I know he is english but i believe he is of middle eastern decent and looks like it.

I think Khan takes this one easy. HE will not be trading at all. He will be outboxing Maidana and prossibly knocking him out in the later rounds. Ortiz just fought a stupid fight. Thats all it was.

The key is for Khan not to let Maidana land clean and full on, most will go down if Maidana lands with the right shots.

Khan has a very high work rate and Maidana has a poor defence. By sticking to a good tight gameplan Khan will start making Maidana make mistakes because he will be losing rounds. I think Maidana will take too many shots.

big props to khan and i'll actually say khan UD. He'll use his speed and box around maidana all night. Lord help him if he gets caught on the ropes or in the corner though. This would be a perfect undercard fight for the mosley/may fight if that does indeed get signed soon.

The WBA enforced this fight, Khan had to take it or lose his title.

But he wasn't obliged to keep the title, he has a name and marketability to be getting solid fights whether he has a title or not. So credit to him for not dumping it and for taking on the mandatory, who happens to be in the mold of the guy who KO'd him in a round a year ago. That shows real balls and real confidence in his belief that he's improved greatly, a belief I definately share.

Maidana stops him while being behind on all cards.

    Spot on :good

What Khan is doing is good for the sport, other fighters should learn from this young warrior and take risks.
