Khan should outbox Maidana but I cant see him not avoiding Maidana all night long. He will get clipped and I aint confident he will take those punches.

The idiot said he was on the same level as Pacquiao and the other notables - same level!

I like khan i hope he goes far in the sport. The british fans are racist that's for sure. The war and 9/11 didn't help matters.

My reasoning is this, imo both guys dnt have the best defense, both guys can bang and both guys have shaky chins. Difference is Khan boxing game is pretty tight, Maidana hits like a mule. So this has all the makings of a war and it can end at anytime.

I'm Ready For A World Title Shot

    Published: 19 Jun 2008

AMIR KHAN has set his sights on facing the winner of the David Diaz-Manny Pacquiao clash.

Diaz puts his WBC lightweight title on the line against Pacquiao on June 28.

And Khan, 21, reckons he should be given the chance to challenge whoever ends the night with the belt around his waist.

The Commonwealth champ said: "Diaz and Pacquiao are great fighters but I could beat them both.

"I'm fighting in front of a 10,000 sell-out on Saturday night so I think I'm one of the main men in the division.

"And by the end of the year I'm not just going to be one of the main men, I'm going to be No1 - everybody's going to be after me.

"I've got a high rating with the WBO and WBC and I feel I'm ready for a world title shot."

The Bolton fighter would also jump at the chance to silence trash-talking WBA, IBF and WBO champion Nate Campbell, who blasted: "Khan's a big fraud.

"A lot of guys out there are talking the talk but it's me who is walking the walk.

"I can do anything there is in the ring to do. I haven't been hurt or down in my whole career so I'm not worried about Khan."

Khan has dismissed the comments but is keen to let his fists do the talking.

He said: "I read some of the stuff Campbell said about me and it just made me laugh.

"After I've taken his world titles away from him he'll be giving me the respect I deserve."

    -----------------

Then he met Prescott on September, and got KTFO.

This is why some people think he's an arrogant amd mouthy twat. Nothing to do with race, religion or whatever. Hopefully Prescott's fists has given him some humility at least.

Dude, I've seen him after his fights saying the same crap before he got KTFO. I remember Warren even trying to be realistic afterwards and kept saying how he'll get a few more fights before he goes after a world title.

If the Sun is bull****, maybe he should have sued them, no? There's a lots of quotes from him in that one article. I'm sure if you did a search there would be many more from other newspapers.

Let's face it, the guy was a dick. He got humbled and he doesn't yap as much now - apart from the 'if he was white' nonsense. Good luck to him, but a couple of years ago, he was a dick. Period.

A couple of years ago he was a teenager , I'd hate to see some of the **** I said in my teens reprinted now.

So long as faces tough challenges and doesnt go the Calzaghe route of least resistance I'm on his bandwagon

Should be a good fight. Khan on points but he will have to watch out for a K.O from madaina. After this he should fight the winner of Alexander and Urango but will probably fight Malinaggi as they want to increase his presence in the US

This could be oscar's payback of freddie roach by setting his fighter up to take a beating and when he loses drop him and sign maidana.
