Why would floyd wait until Khan is ready?

Khan is inexperienced a crowd pleaser and is in a lower weight class , the 3 ingredients Floyd wants in a fight.

That's the kind of performance that will bring Floyd out of vacation.

Floyd is ready for Amir. All Amir needs to do is call Floyd and Floyd will sign the contract right away. No one calls Floyd and get away with it.

I just rewatched the Maidana fight. **** a rematch. Khan should fight another 3 times. Then Mayweather early 2012.

"Khan definitely not ready for Mayweather"

    DUH

He is still only 23/24, he should unify 140 before moving up to 147 and thinking about someone like Mayweather.

For the first three of four rounds, I thought Khan looked spectacular, and that he was perhaps ready for the likes of Pacquiao or Mayweather. Those thoughts quickly evaporated by the fifth, though.

Very good answer , and the one i was looking for, i throw in the inexperienced for a reason , as it shows that that coming from a lower weight class wasnt a problem.

    Then take the damn test!

Floyd Vs Khan in the UK would seriously tempt Floyd, he's been grooming
the UK crowd for a while now and being the astute business man that
Mayweather is, I think if Khan can notch up another win, that he might
    get his wish.

Mayweather probably needs a fight in between.

I think Martinez should be Mayweathers sole focus atm though.

Khan just turned 24. Mayweather is 34 soon.

I'd pick Mayweather for another year, maybe 2 years. But after that, Khan takes him.

Presently mayweather will pick him apart with power. I too would not be suprised to see mayweather khan real soon such is the hype surrounding khan and the fact of the huge uk/worldwide exposure for mayweather. Like it was mentioned - Floyd is not daft and will know khan is for the taking presently...
