Mayweather is semi retired, I don't see him staying in the game till Khan is ready to face him...

I agree. I admired Khan's performance but nowhere near ready for Mayweather.

Khan may not be ready 4 Mayweather but who is? People have been talking about Khan v JMM. JMM recently fought Mayweather. Mayweather fought Hatton. Is Hatton better than Khan? If Hatton & JMM are worthy opponents why not Khan?

Just watched the fight. Very good fight and Khan impressed at times but also showed many flaws. Props to Amir, he took some big shots and was still standing fireing back. We all know his super fast and Maidana is a warrior who just keeps coming. Major props to him for never giving up.

Khan is nowhere ready for Mayweather and I think he struggles v JMM as well.

Valid points. But I think that Khan has so much more to offer and has many problems to iron out before facing FMW. Mayweather would just exploit Khan's weaknesses and would make it look too easy. Khan has critical areas to improve on before asking for such fights.

Only downside is that maybe by the time Khan is ready, Mayweather will have retired for good.

Is it better to fight & lose or be accused of ducking?

I personally would rather fight otherwise you'll never know if you could have won. You'll look & feel like a chicken. Plus you'd probably learn more losing to Mayweather than beating a bunch of lesser opponenets.

Impressive as he was last night, Khan is still a young and inexperienced fighter compared to Mayweather. I don't see it as a fight just now.

Khan is asking for the fight but those around him will stop it from happening for now. Although there's no shame in losing to FMW and he probably would learn a lot from a defeat, better to face him when he is more technically advanced.

Mayweather owns Khan. Not even close.
