The round before the 11th his pressure was really troubling Martinez. You could tell Sergio wasn't fancying it. Then Murray came out in the 11th and stood off, giving Martinez too much room.

A left hook from an orthodox fighter against a southpaw is pretty much the least likely shot to finish him

Zab looks very aware of that left hook. Needs to keep that up but we know zab will sleep on it and it might end up putting him to sleep

1-1, better round for Zab, hard left landed near the end.

come on ishy murray was the better fighter, not the busier but cleaner, clisper and a(2)knockdowns,i said all along hed get beat on points
he had adecent enough 11th to give it even and yes he lost the 12th but i still think he did enough to edge it.last person to do that well was macklin and he got caught but the judges had macklin up remember(neutral)and barker also did well,i enjoyed the sergio beatdown of chavez but this was very diffrent

1-1 so far. Garcia has already got a couple of shots to pin Judah down, but Judah's found some options too. Not much in it. Felt Garcia did a bit more in the first, and Judah closed the second well.

Exactly. Thats an advatange for garcia imo. Judah is only watching tht right hook.. Which is what garcia wants judah to do.

I don't think it was clear enough mate. Remember, they had the open scoring as well so Murray's corner knew how the judges had it after 8 and they knew he needed to win all of the final 4 rounds cleanly. He didn't do that.

Maybe on neutral territory Murray gets a split decision. It was that sort of fight.

Arreola/Stiverne is a lot of fun.

    Steve Kim:

Lou DiBella just called, he said Martinez may not fight the rest of the year. Almost pulled out of the fight 3 weeks ago with his bum knee

Amazing how Lou isn't complaining about a robbery but if it wasn't his fighter invovled he'd be going nuts :D

2-1 Judah. Zab's letting Garcia throw and land partially, while getting some nice little shots in and keeping Garcia moving. He's also closing well with eye-catching shots.
