khan was only able to throw so many punches at barrera was only because barrera was fighting with one eye. khans punches had no effect on barrera. khan didnt beat barrera, his headbutt did. that was probably his gameplan from day 1.
And Hatton just KTFOed by a ringpost. Really there is soo much excuses already. The guy won, Barrera was the one swinging his head wildly.
btw barerra head butt khan. khans got head butted in the cheek/eye area and manage to cut barerras head open loooool. if khan was as crap as evey1 says he is, then barerra would have shattered the glass jaw even with 1 eye. buh no that didnt happen becuz khan is very good and freddy sed he's the fastest light weight he's ever seen. As far as I'm concerned the fight was a no-contest. The cut was no worse in round 5 than round 1. They made Barrera fight for 4 rounds with a ridiculous cut so that Khan could win on points.
i agree with the thread to a certain degree. the pundits last night were saying it was ashame that the cut didnt allow khan to make a bigger statement, but if there was no cut barrera would have walked through anything khan would have had to offer and would have taken the chap into the hardest fight Khan would ever have had, i believe this 100%. but the cut was made and khan got the break, no doubt in a million years the kid has immence talent, but no chance can he hang with the elite in his division at the moment, JMM for example would kill him.

Thats a hell of a gameplan from Roach. Roach telling Khan the gameplan:...... Let MAB headbutt you, cross your fingers and hope that you come out of it in better shape than he does, then get stuck into him until the doctor stops it in the 5th, by which case you will be ahead on points. Of course this depends on him headbutting you in the first, so that you have won all 4 rounds before the stoppage, because if he waits till the 4 to headbutt you, you will probably be 4 rounds down or on a stretcher having been KO'd by the first punch Marco lands on you in the 1st. great post.:happy well we had the idiotic Dave Parris (yes warrens fav referee when his boxers fight a dangersous fighter see hatton vs tyszu) i think barrera would of done more damage with 2 eyes and i am convinced he would of rocked khans glass chin and then went in for the kill. barerra said he never felt any pain with his punches he is not a puncher thats for sure.
