Khan father disrespects Roach's parkinsons

Yeah, Roach is taking some unfair criticism here for Khan's slip.

Do you think Roach told him to stand and trade punches with a legitimate banger like Garcia?

Or told him to keep trading after he'd had his bell rung?

I doubt it.

 

A fighter shouldn't need to be given instructions during the fight, especially not in the middle of a round. If a trainer needs to tell fighters what to do throughout the fight, it shows there's a problem with the fighter and his mentality.

Aside from that, Roach isn't having a great year but he's still a far better trainer than Hunter is. Khan would have been better admitting his own faults and staying with Roach.

 

Every time A Mere Queen Con loses it's always someone else's fault, he never takes responsibility like a man. Now I know that it's in his genes.

 

The same thing will happen again with Khan again, he'll put together a few good wins agaist non punchers, think he's untouchable again then he'll get put in with someone who punches, trade with him and get KTFO.

Then he'll blame Hunter probably go to brother Naz and so on....

Also have to beg the question if Roach is so crap why ask him to drop his main fighters and give main time to Amir. Why not just walk away?. Also why stay with Roach if it's been a long running thing?..

I don't think it's bad if a fighter needs instruction in the corner, whether he listens to them or not is the real issue.

 

Maybe because its his son's life in the ring which is on the line, it would help if his trainer would give him some words of advice when the **** has hit the fan.

Just watched the interview. It's just a load of excuses and nonsense from Khan's dad. Staying positive is good. To an extent delusion can also be good. All winners in life are deluded somewhat, but burying your head in the sand is not. You can stay positive, but if you fail you do need to look at your own flaws and take responsibility instead of shifting all of the blame on somebody else. The trainer can only do so much. If this is the kind of talk Khan hears all the time, he's in trouble.

 

Something was deffo up, I think the respect in the camp had gone.

I am talking in the build up to the fight was Roach focusing enough on Khan.

Yes I am not blaming Khan's actions after he got hurt on Roach he was stupid to do that, but I think that's the whole wild card effect, they do the same in sparring.

 

Nothing was up other than the fact Khan was so ****ing stupid he decided to trade with a heavy hitter and continue to trade after being knocked down.

That's what was up.

 

This is why people hate him. So all you pricks can now stop using the race card when people say he's hated.
