Khan fight is off!

could...bit of a big 'could'....chop chop corley now find himself on a short list of possible khan opponents?

 

Paulie M? Khan steps up to W yeah but hardly like the weight will make much diff with Paulie being the oppo.

 

Bad news for boxing fans and you have to feel sorry for Khan.

I heard his next fight will be in early July- I'm hoping it's Khan-Alexander at WW

For once I will speak up in favour of Khan. Looks very very dodgy for Peterson, and the way things have transpired i would say he was almost certainly doping in the first fight. If its found he was, I think a minimum of a 3 year ban should be in place and the fight changed to a NC

 

Ideally, a lifetime ban.

But probably a year.

 

Last October/November Khan was telling the press Peterson was a routine defence and he was eyeing the big money fights at 147... fast forward half a year and post fight we've had dodgy referee decisions, "hat man" and now Peterson on the power pellets pre fight.

I feel sorry for Khan, he hasn't had a fight in recent memory that hasn't had some sort of controversy from the McCloskey shambles (no fault of Khan's) to Zab Judah faking low blows and now this :-(

Khan did say he was surpised how heavy Peterson came into the ring. All his sparring partners were light middleweights for the rematch

 

He's being a bit of a twat as usual but he is probably right, and to be honest when someone endangers your life and tries to cheat you out of your titles (and did it seems); you're allowed to talk as much **** about them as you like.

 

On Sky Sports News Khan said Garcia,Maidana or Judah seem to be the only options for his June/July fight but will have a meeting with GB in the next few days.


I would like the Garcia fight but i don't think it gets made.
