Maidana is the better puncher but the shots prescott hit kahn with where better than anything maidana hit him with, kahn was wide open against prescott and he paid the price. Paul m hasn't got a 10% of the power of either guy so he had very little chance.
Khan looked ****....McCLoskey looked worse. Audley-esque performance from him! He was on his way to losing 120-108 or getting stopped shame on you for buying it
In that case Audley gave it a right go as well, pulling out a staggering high volume punch output of 2 jabs in 3 rounds against Haye. McCloskey wasn't quite at Audley's level though. Audley raised the bar that night and McCloskey and others are trying their best to emulate the great man.
atsch After the Maidana fight, I think this whole Prescott thing can be swept under the carpet,, Khan has changed a lot since that fight and he can certainly take a much better punch. Paul M was doing nothing and was just show boating from what I remember and getting tagged as he tried to dodge punches. The stoppage was stupid, and Khan looked too eager and sloppy but Paul is a very awkward southpaw fighter and hard to look good against anyway, and if we really need to make any comparison, need we be reminded of the Bradley - Alexander fight? Both fighters look absolutely awful in that fight. Anyway, Paul was on the way to losing that fight by a very lop-sided way, as if people are saying Khan was getting tired, Khan has gone 12 rounds a few times before, one of them was 12 rounds after having the **** beat out of him, so people can make things up and claim Paul would of knocked him out in the later rounds or suddenly pulled it around, but the fact is... they had 6 rounds and Paul did **** all and lost every single one of them. This is why the sport is dying, because of people having to pay £15 for a bollocks show like that, and then we have fans that actually MAKE THINGS UP to suit their agenda. If fights were on the BBC or on free-to-watch channels across the world, I believe this sport would be much more popular.
