Khan fight off

Just read this on the scene. They say that Maidana and the winner of JMM-Diaz II are options, as well as Casamayor. Hopefully they choose Maidana, and there's really no excuse to not fight him now.

 

I agree not enough but that's the problem with having your first fight in May. Now he has to face a top notch opponent he has no excuses what so ever as far as I'm concerned and for me it will be his last chance to keep me as a fan (not that he cares) if he faces someone crap then I won't stick with him anymore.

I don't want to see Casamayor unless he secures a legit win and I don't want to see Prescott unless he also secures a legit win. So that leaves Ortiz, Bradley, Alexander, Maidana and the winner of Marquez-Diaz and Katsidis (but I would prefer to see them face off against each other) as the only opponents I have any interest in. Bit annoyed to be honest it was a nice idea to see someone actually stay busy for once but hay in modern Boxing we should be grateful that he has been out twice this year.

 

If he's fighting in November or December then he **** Casamayor off. That was only acceptable as keep-busy.

I'm actually really pissed about this. Why do Boxers, Promoters et al. have to open their mouthes about these ideas when they barely seem to keep to these "plans" I was actually looking forward to seeing Khan in July on the JMM Card.

 

If he knows he can't train in Ramadan he should be fighting Jan/Feb then June/ July and Oct/Nov. Even thats not that hectic a schedule.

 

No excuses now so lets see what him and his team deliver, hopefully a good one.

 

He'll need a warm up fight after the layoff.
