Seriously though, isn't that everyone wants to see? Khan in with a puncher, one-dimensional or otherwise? This is the kind of fight (v Maidana) that will show us how much he has improved since the Prescott defeat.

 

Lmao Breidis turned out to hav zero dimensions, all he's got is a KO victory over Khan and seems to be milking it for all its worth. I thought he was gonna become the new Julian Jackson at the time. Maidana's much better, and at 140 the more murderous puncher. Also he's shown he can come back from the brink and KTFO the opposition, so its a danger as long as he's fighting, whereas Breidis gets tired after the first couple of rounds lol.

 

I'l be seriously pissed off if he doesnt fight Maidana in November.

 

Looks like its gonna be Marquez, Even tho both he and Freddie want Maidana. He's a Goldenboy fighter now lol.

Why? If Khans chin is truly as bad as people are making out then whats the point in only employing a plodder who can punch but who might go the whole fight not being able to land? According to most people on here aeven a complete feather fist has a chance against Amir. Surely it would be a better test for Khan and more entertaining for us if he went in with someone like Alexander who has decent power, is quick and can actually box. The only people who are calling for Maidana are "fans" who just want to see Khan twitching on the canvas again, its misguided and it isn't going to happen

 

Very poor management for a young star. He needs to be in the gym learning and improving while fighting good opponents who will give him invaluable experience.

 

We want him to fight Maidana but by November that will only serve as a delay from fighting JMM, Diaz, Bradley or Alexander who by that stage should be the established top dog at 135 and 140.

This is a huge mistake for Khan. Another 7 month lay off... just because his planned fight had a poor reception with the media companies. At this rate he's gonna be in his late twenties saying "You know I'm still young, still learning, It's only a matter of time before I fight these big names, you know"

 

As long as he picks a big fighter this winter (Maidana or Marquez) he'll be fine.
