Don't believe Khan has the physical advantages over his opponents Wlad does to insure he's not hit cleanly like Wlad is.

I think at this point engaging too much not a good thing. Needs to not be so flashy and be more effective defensively first and foremost and also offensively by sitting on his punches, using his reach more, and keeping his hands up while he's punching. He doesn't use much waist or head movement he relies more on his feet. He seems one dimensional to me too. Fights the same way in every fight. Can't do that man.

This statement makes you come across as either ignorant or stupid.
    Which is it?

It's what happens when you have such CRAZY natural talents, and speed. You think too highly of your speed, and just throw caution to the wind. Khan had been on such a groove lately, just cruising along; even in the Peterson fight it's pretty clear he lost 4 rounds tops, and clearly won the fight. Most people expected Peterson would win some rounds, AND the reason he did just a little better than expected, was because he was on that ****.

So he was just all confident, and on top of the world. . It's happened before to world class boxers, and it'll happen again. . .

Khan settles down, stiffens his jab up, and he EASILY beats Garcia. We'll soon find out hwo confident Garcia is of beating Khan in a rematch if he turns down the kind of money only Khan can bring him at this point. :)

iron_chin the use of quotation marks are for a quote verbatim. Not an extrapolation, supposed implication etc..

Khan didn't say "I need to stop fighting like an amateur."

Anyhow, its a good start for Khan. I refuse to back another Freddy-Khan, I'm not a fair weather fan but at this point I think the guy needs to realize that the chemistry between him and Freddy, regardless of who is at fault, he or Roach, IS NOT benefiting him.

He needs a full time trainer. He needs Steward or Snr.

He is an out fighter , that's his natural style, he should stick to what he does best. Mike Tyson was never encouraged to stick and move, so why should Amir work on his inside game.

Broner was right, Khan throws alot of inaccurate, ineffective flurries, that waste alot of energy which also leave him open to real punches. His defense is even worse, his poor punch resistance may have started his demise but damn the only time his head moved was when Garcia moved it for him, Garcia landed well over 30 big shots in the 4th, many of which he winded up and telegraphed, as of now, Khan is no where near elite or ready for 147.

He needs to be more proficient, as of now he is terrible on the inside and it is huge hole in his game, both Peterson and Maidana **** all over him when they got inside. Lennox Lewis wasn't an inside fighter BUT he was damn good inside which really helped him out. Its called versatility, all great fighters are versatile.

BTW the Tyson in his early days used excellent footwork, movement, and angles.

Your last sentence desperately needs a well placed comma or two to save it from misinterpretation.

    :patsch:rofl:nut

What about the 30+ huge shots in the 4th round? Were those all lucky punches as well?
