    In the news for fights.

I thought it was funny that of all people, it was Rubio who suggested Prescott to be the opponent that night.

I don't think Roach would be as helpful to him as Floyd Mayweather, Sr. Aside from head movement and footwork, which are the biggest improvements I've seen in Pacquiao's defense, most defensively gifted fighters that Roach has are that way before they sign with him (e.g. Toney).

Mayweather, on the other hand, is a brilliant trainer not only for specifically teaching defensive stances and positions (shoulder-roll) but also for how to throw counters out of that stance (e.g. pig-sticking a jab). Look how De La Hoya's defense improved pre and post-Vargas.

I think that given Khan's glass jaw, he is going to have to switch his style, because even the almost-great Herol Graham couldn't overcome the same problem in his career.

Roach will be a great for Khan especially when he's looking to improve his defense and movement, just look how Roach changed Pacquiao, it's a work of art.

Though getting Mayweather Sr. can also be a great move especially when Hatton also trains with him in England. Khan and his team must see something in Roach that they really like and I can't blame them. Roach commented on this and so far it looks like he's interested to help him out.

Mayweather Sr. won't train Khan now that he has seen his Glass Jaw. Did you ever hear why Mayweather Sr. dropped Dawson? He said he will not train a fighter with a Glass Jaw.

there was an interview a while back on fight news right after Dawson and Sr. split. It was pretty harsh.

I'm pretty sure Dawson was dropped by Floyd Mayweather Sr because he wouldn't listen to him in the corner. This led to Sr calling Dawson "******ed for real".

Herol Graham did not have "the same problem".

Graham went the distance with McCallum (in Mike's prime), and it took a perfect Julian Jackson bomb (which would have sent Khan to the funeral home) to stop him from winning a landslide decision in that fight.

I see what you're saying, but during the McCallum fight he took most of his shots to the body. Graham had excellent defense and footwork...I liked the Bomber, and I thought he would pull it out against Mitchell when he came out of semi-retirement, but he was stopped late.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

That's the only thing that's gonna make ANY difference.

This guy could have Eddie Futch, Angelo Dundee AND Ray Arcel in his corner and he's still get starched by the first guy he faced who could punch a lick.:yep

All the trainer-replacement in the world won't get rid of that Grade DOUBLE A China Chin.:-(
