Kahn will have to respect Danny's power so it won't be an onslaught unless kahn wants to prove how good his chin is to his fans. I don't see kahn knocking out garcia, who is the last fighter kahns actually knocked out? I don't count judah as he bitched out. So it will go the distance with kahn looking to win on points. All the hype surrounding kahn, it's easy to forget how intelligent garcia is in his defence and adaptability not to mention how strong his chin is. This isn't some over the hill Judah, macloksey or a gunho maidana Kahn is fighting. This guy is on the same level as Peterson who kahn struggled with, is young and hungry and can easily rock kahn's world in my opinion.
Based on what I saw of Khan in his last time out and of Pacquiao against Bradley. I have a concern with Roach trained boxers. They seem to do just enough to win a round, which in boxing is often not enough. Granted Chavez and Qullin were both more agresive in their last bouts. However Chavez has his Father's pedagree, and Roach is Quillin's secondary trainer. Garcia might not have the experance as Khan. However, he's a very good boxer. Unless Khan fights with more inteenisty. I see Garcia winning.
Danny Garcia wants to be the best by beating Amir Khan – Boxing News Danny Garcia, the current WBC light welterweight champion, wants to be the best in the business. According to Garcia, his fight against Khan is the moment of cementing his legacy in the industry. Garcia wants to beat Khan to become the most prominent light welterweight in the history of sport. Danny Garcia currently stands with 23 wins, 0 losses and 14 knockouts. He has remained unbeatable, even though he has faced some of the world fiercest fighters. Garcia knocked out Erik Morales in March this year, a victory that surprised most boxing fans. Speaking about his performance against Morales, Garcia stated, “I think that I showed a lot of heart in that fight. In the 11th round, he cut me on my eyebrow and I started bleeding and my nose was a little swollen. I stood there and I traded with a Mexican warrior, and the fans loved it, and that's what people want to see in boxing.” He added, “(fans) They want to see blood, sweat and tears. When the times got heated, and people thought my nose was broken, and my eye was bleeding, my heart got pumped up and I stood there and I traded.” According to Garcia, if Khan believes he is the best then he needs to beat the champion to become the best. However, Garcia believes that this will be Khan’s last mega-bout, as after being defeated by him the Bolton proud will not have much to say or do. It should be noted here that the bout between Khan and Garcia is now a title unification bout, after the WBA stripped Lamont Peterson off the title. The vacant WBA light welterweight title is now on the line for Khan’s fight against Khan. If Khan wins, he will once again unify the titles. However, if Danny is successful in defending his WBC light welterweight title, he will unify the titles for the first time in his life. ^^ article is badly written http://blogs.bettor.com/Danny-Garcia-wants-to-be-the-best-by-beating-Amir-Khan-Boxing-News-a168515
It seems like every one of Khan's fights is a make or break fight for him. Garcia is a threat. If Khan KO's Garcia I would love to see what '1-2-roll out Garcia Snr' thinks. Roach is telling evry1 that this fight could end early. I think it won't. How things change... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vp0xneIozHk&[/ame]
This. I mean ****ing hell people, no one's saying he's on the level of Mayweather or a prime RJJ or anything. I hardly ever see posts ranting about the "hype" surrounding a guy like Ortiz or Bradley for example, it's like some of you are still stuck in 2009 FFS.
