Did you know that Roach was thinking of putting Manny against Judah during that time as well but Khan got to him first. I guess they needed a fight where he would look spectacular and along the way get a belt.
Ahh ok, in that case I think they will leave for Vegas on the Monday as 'official' arrivals are often the day after the actual arrival. So they won't be at the WildCard Monday.
Not really, just asking for someone else who was going to be in LA on Monday and was hoping to catch Amir training at the gym. Cheers.
Yeah, that would be the best possible thing to do, and if achieved, it would make him a hell of a fighter. Unfortunately that is something that's far beyond his capacity of learning. It is for most fighters, in fact. Only a select-few special people have ever been able to do that. Like you mentioned, Lewis being one of them.
Yo, what the hell is the story behind your avatar? Why are all those nice white folks cringing in terror from that shirtless black man?
I just rewatched Khan coming to NYC to fight Paulie "Jersey Shore Magic" Malignaggi and the word swift came up to my mind. Paulie came of a rematch with Juan Diaz and showed that he was swift and talented, of course he didn't have the reach with only 5'7'' tall and the power with only 5 KOs is his resumé. But I was very impressed the way Amir who won the WBA title also very clearly against Kotelnik and already under Freddie and Ariza and GBP completely outpunched Paulie with a very constructive battle plan, very good reflexes on defense and a damaging long, stiff, fast jab followed by a right hand and a fast left hook... Definitely Freddie and GBP chose the right guy for his american debut and I also believe that they chose well Garcia if this is to be a high-speed chess match. Garcja can't possibly win unless he has power but Miadana also had and that was not enough, Garcia needs power plus good boxing skills ( fast hands, combo punching, fast feet) and neutralize Khan's jab...
Dannys got mad heart. Recently got shot with a 38 by Peanut and still signed to fight Khan. Danny Swift a G
