Khan-Garcia [AFTERMATH]

Khan is wide open for the left hook counter. Malignaggi landed it and Peterson landed it very hard n flush before he was knocked down. Had that been Garcia's left hook it woulda been lights out for Khan cause thats one of Dannys best shots, plus he can throw it quicker, better timing and harder than Paulie or Lamont. Overall Danny has great timing and a very good jab. I really dont see how Khans going to avoid Garcias counters. Once Khan tastes Dannys power, he will resort to his usual dirty tactics, holding, pulling the head down and pushing. I dont think it will work against Danny tho cause he is too strong and will hit Khan all over when theyre up close. Once this gets past 3 or 4 rounds Garcia will start hurting and chasing Khan. He knows that he can hurt and end Khan at any moment so he'll take more risks and have success in doing so. I say Danny stops Khan in the 11th in a foty candidate.

 

Being less wild and frenetic actually works for Danny Garcia. He likes to pick his shots with crisp one two's and that left hook.

 

Still no sparring clips?

I don't know why, but that makes me feel a bit uneasy. 9 months, and not one single sparring feature? Why not? Has Khan been working on a 'super secret gameplan'?

I'd be worried if they even need a detailed gameplan.

Khan should not give Garcia a minute to think

First round go for the head almost entirely for the first minute at a great pace (he can afford to with Garcia) try and get him on edge

Then in the last few minutes just wait for that golden opportunity to throw a left hook to the body... Probaly with Garcia holding his guard up expecting a quick flurry to the head

Will catch him off guard....


Looks like Khan and Ruben will watch the Haye fight before Khan fights...
Do you think this a good idea when your fighting 6 hours later...? What if Chisora pulls a dirty move (which is likely)
Wouldn't want to have my concentration took away by other events of the day....
Or am I thinking about this too much...
