Mehh no biggie. Khan will have to put on a show cos if he loses he'll be ruined. This fight is for 3 belts. It'll be good if he wins and then moves up but gonna be a hard fight. Garcia say's he's gonna KO Khan within the 1st 4 rounds. One thing I keep on hearing from alot of fans on here is that Khan hasn't cleaned out the division. I mean who else should he fight? Just look at the rankings @140. He's beat most of them.
Everybody is going to welterweight,so there's no reason for any of the top guys at 140 to stay,by next year the welterweight division will be hot.
Yep. Next 2 years are going to be interesting. Pac and Floyd will go and somebody has to take #1 @ 147
Cheaters never win, that whole Peterson thing was bull **** from the drugs to the ref to the Hatman, bull ****. Khan is a mordern day warrior willing to face any fighter, you don't get that in this day and age. Real know real, WBA and The Ring know what's up King Khan is in the house the Asian Tiger ready to rip **** up. War Khan...
Man, Saturday is going to be fun... first I get to see G-Sora smack around Haye, then hopefully Khan will be back with avengeance. And if both fights don't go according to plan, at least I'll be too drunk to care.
Khan seems to think matthysse wouldn't be a hard fight since matthysse apparently leaves his defence open. But I think it would be a darn tough fight. 12 rounder for sure. If Khan underestimated Lucas he'd get screwed over.
I think so as well. Lucas is a undefeated fighter in my eyes. It's just that people want Khan to face everybody but he can't. I really want Lucas to prosper @140. Hopefully he'll be the new King.
Matthysse doesn't handle movement or speed very well at all. Judah outboxed him for long portions of their fight and a bloated Soto was giving as good as he got for a few rounds, thanks to his superior handspeed, before stupidly standing square on in front of Lucas and trading. Matthysse also boxes a lot and prefers to trade at mid-range (though he's ok on the inside too), he doesn't apply the same type of relentless pressure that both a roided Peterson and Maidana brought. He's a lot more calculated in his approach. That being said Matthysse has the type of power to take Khan out of his gameplan at any time in the fight, and definite one puch KO power. I favour Khan by about 60/40 but it would be a VERY tough fight, especially down the stretch.
