There is a difference.

McCloskey was not a great choice, but it was a home coming fight for Khan after two fights in US. He had just fought Maidana and Malignaggi.
After McCloskey, he went back to US and fought Judah.

Before, you Malignaggi was shot and Judah as shot. Judah was coming off a win against Matthyse. I'd like to remind you this was in 5 years back and Malignaggi was 29 then. Khan and Brook are 28 now. Moreover, 5 years ago Khan was still early stage of their career. Brook has had 34 fights and he has fought cans after cans.

Brook had his McCloskey level easy come back fight against a manufactured IBF #1 in Jo Jo Dan. Instead of fighting someone credible now he will be doing what he has done in all but one of his 34 fights and thats fight very poor easy opposition to pad his record.

 

In no way is the Gavin fight ok

As well as the fact that Brook is attempting to fight Khan, and Khan is dismissing the fight.

 

We all know he doesn't want to give Kell a payday. And Kells proving Khan right, Brook won't fight anybody with a pulse until he gets that Khan payday. Gavin is british level, he lost to Skeete ffs, truely an awful fight.

The reason Brook gets no hate is because he is not popular and nobody cares about him, we expect him to fight bums because thats all we're used to seeing him do now for 33 fights. Khan on the other hand is expected to be great and fight big names as he used to so he gets more hate because people pay attention to him.
