Khan gets his ass handed to him

Khan chin just can't be helped, Diaz is a good fighter be not an Elite. If he is have problems with him then how far can Khan's career go?

I'd say it isn't even so much chin. No fighter can afford to get hit clean at this level. Well, a few but Kahn isn't one of them.

 

Damn I thought he was going to tie Pac for getting KTFO. Close really close. He can tie Pac in his next fight.

 

For all Khan's faults, the guy has impressive wins over Zab Judah, Marcos Maidana, and Paulie Malignaggi. and a split decision loss to Lamont Peterson where many people thought Amir Khan won. two judges had it a 1-pt win for Peterson, and one judged had it a 5-pt win for Khan.

Khan made Malignaggi look old, remember how bleak Malignaggi's future looked that night due to Khan's overwhelming superiority to Paulie in all areas? but since then, Paulie has bounced back strong, has had a resurgance and somehow became young and energized again. Khan fights always have you glued to the TV, because you don't know what is going to happen next. Khan could get KO'd or he could go on a rally. you never know, that's what makes it so entertaining.

 

Khan barely got by a C+ level fighter. He started off well, then he went back to his same old routine of rushing in with his punches with his chin out. The kid's defense is abysmal. But exciting fight none the less.

Khan is done. He'll never be the fighter virgil hunter wants him to be because GBP will put him in with a big hitter before he's ready to be that fighter. He boxed well when he wasnt hurt though.

 

Didn't Paulie go up in weight though? Maybe Kahn needs to do the same. I don't know if he is drained or not to be honest.

 

Good thought. You might be right about that. Maybe he should go up in weight. I don't know if Khan can win, but if he has the balls to go up against Mayweather or Canelo, I think it would be a good fight at the very least. He might be struggling a bit to make the weight. He really has to work on strengthening his legs I think. Like specific workouts to smooth out his footwork.

 

Good point about the legs. A little more there would do him good. Dehydration will lower your punch resistance. When guys like Floyd and Pac fight at close to their natural weights it makes you wonder about the wisdom of draining.

 

Khan vs Canelo would be a great fight. Khan's supreme defense would frustrate Canelo, and I don't think Canelo has the power to hurt Khan. Khan by KO.

 

Interesting prediction. Posts like this is why I love boxing and reading the forums after a big fight.
