Khan-Gomez was a bad stoppage

I looked all over the forum this morning, and I couldn't find it, the thread where someone was denouncing this stoppage and I could add my voice. I'm not scouring any more and I'm just writing it myself.

Khan-Gomez was greatly entertaining stuff, and questions were being asked of both fighters, but that stoppage put a sour taste on a good fight. This was probably Gomez's last big fight, and he was giving it all. He was taking some punishment, but not more than he could take. He had hurt Khan, and showed how he had a chance, and he should've been given it. It's just not fair to snatch that chance from him just because Khan's the star and you don't want him taking any more of the effective punishment that Gomez was meting out.

It was a shame, another blot after Khan hitting a downed opponent in his last fight. His rise to stardom is not being done entirely cleanly, and that's a real shame for me.

They probably could hav let it continue on for a little longer, but overall not the worst stoppage I've seen.
