So because they "almost always get rematched" that is a reason for fans to want the rematch?

Also most champions get a rematch because of a rematch clause in the contract, not because the challenger or fans are clamoring for it. That's why sometimes we are subjected to horrible rematches to fights that sometimes nobody wanted to see in the first place.

Just because it 'almost always' happens doesn't justify it. Not to go off on a tangent but that's the same argument used for Khan's pushing. Well it almost always doesn't get penalized so the referee should let him do it.

I think most people want to see the rematch. The only people that appear not to want the rematch are Khan haters that want Peterson to run with the belts.

Khan moaning aside, due to the ref setting a precedent with the points deductions, the closeness of the fight and Hatman, kind of justifies a rematch here don't you agree?

By the way I want to see the rematch because I want to see a clear winner from it all, imo Peterson didnt win clear and should be seeking to shut Khan up in thering by KOing him.

People who dont want to see the rematch do so because they don't like Khan and don't want him to have a chance to avenge the defeat which is anti boxing imo.

Peterson is not a real deal. Unknown in three years.

Good news. To all the people saying Khan doesn't deserve it, this is a chance for Peterson to settle the score and prove he is actually the better man, that can win decisively without any controversy.

If Peterson beats Khan again, then Khan's basically done at the elite level. But I think people are afraid that this isn't going to happen. I think some people hate Khan so much, that deep down they know lightning might not strike twice, and they don't want to see Khan win the rematch.

NO its not a good thing .. Kahn bitches and moan when he loses, and you can only expect more of this same type of **** from him in the future.. Question did Kahn moan about the controversy with he a Zab .? NO

But the min he loses , he insults the fan, the state of Washinton, peterson, the ref, the judges, and head butts that never happened.. But he absolutely will not place the blame where it need to be , which is himself for not listening to the ref.

Kahn ego of thinking he is the uncrowned p4p king is what got his ass whooped twice.

First fight was very good, i had Khan up a point going into the 12th and depending on your scoring of the 12th decides the result in my eyes

I felt it was close but Khan disappointed and showed some real issues, not being able to fight 3.00 mins of every round, not being able to fight on the inside thus resulting in pushing and then points taken, he languishes on the ropes

Petersen fought his heart out attacked Khan and fought with an effort to be applauded, shame controversy will make some forget just how he layed it all on the line to pull the upset

Fight 2- Well Khan despite fighting like **** was ahead on my card and was able to do damage with his shots and could hurt Petersen, Khan is an energey fighter who fights in spurts and takes breaks, he usually started every round on his toes picking Peteresen apart and getting out of there and then stopped doing this and kept Petersen in the fight

It seemed at times Khan could out class him and then let up or took breaks, also Petersen fought the greatest effort of his career, could he repeat this performance?

I assume Khan fixes what he did wrong, Petersen turns in a good but not as good performance and loses

And Kahn is ?? Please the mac can not even fight on the inside, he does not have a clue what to do, if an opponent adjust to his speed, or what to do if an opponent is not at aww over his make believe power..

This kid is nothing more then a lil *****, being breast feed by Roach. And now he want to take the place of Pac with out earning it..

IMO there was no controversy in the Zab fight. Zab got owned quit, that is universally accepted, so I don't understand why you bring that up.

Unlike you I look past petty moaning out of the ring and see the bigger picture which is always in the ring. Khan was Champ coming into the ring, he agreed to hold the fight in Washington Peterson's home town, with a relative unknown ref that works exclusively in the area where the fight was held. The ref setting a prescedent in the ring with 2 points deductions, and adding to that the fact it was an extremely close fight and the Hatman controversy, this fight BEGS for a rematch. Anyone who says otherwise is basing their reasons solely on Khan's out of the ring attitude and ignoring the facts.

My opinion is not based on Khan fight and I don't discredit fighters easily.

I love when fighters proof me wrong, like Haye will never fight Wlad but I just can't see Peterson improving or getting any x-factor in his game. Nothing personal; never even heard his voice.

Lamont should dump the wba and Khan go rematch Maidana. I hope pac fights peterson in a unification match
