i wonder if he means fight out there as well. because theres no way he'll attract the same crowds.

good move if he does this though - not only will he get better training and sparring but his face won't be known and he'll be able to wean himself off the celeb thing.

Yes, I think he wants to fight American fighters too, so he'll fight there. I agree. It's a good move. I think he might become a real boxer boxer after all, rather than just a celebrity boxer. I wish him all the best! He could still come and fight in Bolton once or twice a year...

No way does he risk overturning the gravy train by taking any risk.

He will stay with FW, get some sort of title, fight bums, make lots of money for himself and FW and then retire. After retirement he will pop up as a commentator and take over from Duke Mckenzie.

    Why you think that ?

We know he has no chin and he has no Tyson type 1 punch KO power. He has speed and good movement and his stamina has much improved.

He looked intimidated (some say **** scared) when he was on stage for the JC - Bhops weigh in and baby bull walked on stage.

The only way for him to make as much money as he can is to not take any risks. Can you imagine what would have happened if Limmond had won ? It would be hard to sell him to the public as the UK golden boy if he suffered a loss to Limmond.

Speed and movement and good stamina and decent, but not great power, is not bad at 21! Defence is something that only comes with a lot of experience! Look at Dawson or Pavlik, much older and much more experienced and they still have defence problems. Stamina comes with fighting 10/12 round fights. He doesn't have a great chin? No, he doesn't. But neither did Mundine, and with a very good defence, he overcame that. He can still become a very good fighter, a beltholder. He will be an exciting force in the division even if he goes down once in a while - just look at Dawson - he doesn't have a great chin either! He looked intimidated? Of course! He's 21! Come on! You're being too harsh!

I think it's a smart thing to do.

Gain that experience, work in a different environment with different coaches and training facilities and sparring partners.

    Sounds good to me.
