Right on the money - fighters may have glass jaws, but a lot of times, it doesn't mean they aren't tough. Especially those who come back to win after being on the deck (Corrales, Floyd Patterson, etc)

Agreed. You gotta respect a guy who finds a way to win despite physical deficiencies.

I agree. Some people here seem to get off on the failure of others, its pretty sad. Usualy an indicator that someones got a real **** life.

Its a shame his chin is no good, because he has some good skills, and fast hands, which could of developed well with experience.

He got caught rather awkwardly it has to be said. lots of fighters with good punch resitance have been hurt like amir. look at ali in his early career. de la hoya was wobbled a bit against bredahly AND DROPPED A FEW TIMES. so was leonard against geraldo.

I am not saying that khan is on the same level as these fighters, but i think the jury is out on whther he has a china chin or not., TIME WILL TELL

mY HUNCH IS THAT KHAN HAS GOT A WEAK CHIN BUT ITS STILL TO BE DEBATED. He Did Recover Rather Quickly To Take Charge Of The Bout.

Come on, mate. Like I said earlier, I like Khan, but pointing out his weaknesses doesn't mean I get my kicks off criticising people. I have no doubt people do, but I certainly don't.

I'd like nothing more than Khan or anyone else I like to be a ****ing perfect fighter, but Khan just isn't.

My grandmothers hips are sturdier than his chin.

I do not expect him to go beyond European level with his defensive weakness, but my point was about judging a fighter on the competiton he has in first 10-15 fights. Virtually everyone dines on tomato cans at that stage

Limond was a significant step up, he did well to win, and at 21 he can improve. He is exciting if nothing else.

Why are so many delighted at his showing tonight? surely the hype has not been that offensive. Take a step back from it and judge him as you would any other fighter, and with that he is nothing more than a decent prospect with a few glaring problems.

Khan was also put down by a French fighter with 0 ko's in the seventh round a while ago, he wasn't hurt as bad as he was against Limond but it raises serious questions about his chin?

Limond only had 8 KOs out of 28,imagine khan had been hit by a real puncher,he would have never got back up,i reckon only his youth and speed saved him.

Amir Khan has just been asked one question that all fighters will get asked, at some time in their careers. And people can put a negative spin on it, but Amir Khan got up, and continued his fight. I gave 1 round to Limond, Amir Khan totally dominated the fight. He was too fast, to skillfull. He was Hit with a combination of punches, and he tripped over his own feet and it was a totally mess. Amir Khan was hurt, no question about that. But he came through it, he won the fight, he knocked "Limond" out of the fight, Broke his Jaw, and his Nose, really smashed him up. He may not have the punch resistance of Oliver Mccall. But you don't give away Olympic Medals, Amir Khan can box, and he can fight.

Tonight he came to fight, and God dam it Amir Khan won it.

But if you people are going to be bunch of Wankers, there is no hope for any fighter.
