i cannot look up boxrec because i have spyware as soon as i put in that site, but ODLH got dropped and wobbled by a light hitting italian early on in his career, also dropped and wobbled by another patsy early on.

as he matured both his defense and chin improved , no reason why khan`s cannot.

i saw barry mguigan lose/jim watt lose, in fact 20 years ago there was hardly a uk fighter who had not been decked or lost , somnetimes a few times before they got there title shot.

times have changed and one mistake and you are a bum.

I think Khans stock has raised from the KD, personally i don't think he'll be that great. But sometime down the line he will be world champ. Don't know when but he will be. He's quite careless, and i think he's bravado, he sticks his chin out in the air, his own fault.

Like I said Limond has underrated power, and only lost against a world class operator in Alex Arthur, who beat him by TKO (The same Arthur who got starched by Michael Gomez) yet people aren't saying he's china chinned.. . The simple fact is, Khan hasn't got a great chin, but it's not as bad as people are making out, it's a weakness, but he has skills to work around it. I'd personally like to see him fight a few decent hitters.. so he HAS to improve his defence. He's passed one test, lets see if he can continue and pass a few more.

I think John Murray would be a good fight for him, or maybe Gary Reid, I think Khan beats Mitchell as well. Mitchell is a joke to be fair, lets see how he fares against anyone decent.

I've said before about Gary Reid against him, it would be very short. One would get ko and although Khan is superior in every department to Reid his ego would lt him stick his chin out and it would get destroyed.

Classic example of overrating Lewis and underrating Holyfield. Evander was never taken out in the early rounds by second-rate fighters like McCall and Rahman when he held the title. In fact, NONE of the other greats was.

the first time he gets hit by a decent puncher i think we'll see the chicken dance mk2,limond couldnt crack an egg&he had khan all over, expect khans next 5 fights to be against blown up featherweights.

Classic example of overrating the significance of getting knocked out twice by a fellow HW and underrating the significance of being beaten over the course of 12 rounds on more than two ocassions.

Firstly, it seems a lot of people on this forum like nothing better than to see a hyped fighter get knocked the hell out....what happened to the appreciation of skill, speed and heart?? That's what boxing is about, not waiting for someone to get butchered like a pack of bloodthirsty wolves... :huh
Too many people can't wait to dismiss Khan as a world title belt contender...even if he has a weakness in his chin, he still has tremendous skills and speed and, as we saw last night, the heart to get knocked down and come back even stronger and more dangerous...
Furthermore it's worth mentioning that, with 9KO's in 12, Khan obviously has the power to trouble any fighter out there.....
I still think he is a world title contender for sure....certainly no 'joke' as some forum members have tried to claim :blood

No kidding!! And look, all the usual suspects, all the clowns who question the importance of punch resistance and attack the Chincheckers, were saying the SAME things they say now, even though the were PROVEN wrong!!!

I guess you can't teach these old dogs new tricks. Clear evidence of glass jaws mean nothing to them!:patsch
