I hope that these 'chincheckers' are simply trolls, for their own sake. Being obsessed with a fighter's chin is more than a bit sad. Personally, I don't find this chin business particularly interesting -- most people agree that you cannot change a weak chin, and that there is no certain formula to develop an iron one. If this is indeed true, and people can never really change their punch resistance...then how on earth can it be used to attack someone? It's just a physical facet of their being, something you're born with and have to live with. How is this the fault of the fighter in question? I don't really understand the point of it all. It's far more worthwhile to attack people for things that are under their control -- a fighter's heart, for example. (Even then, simply stepping into the ring requires heart, so most fighters are automatically courageous.) Khan's weak chin has, ironically, given him the chance to show us that he actually has a lot of guts and heart in him, as some people picked up on in the opening few posts of the thread. Even as far back as the Limond fight he was scraping himself off the deck and rather than running away, he came back with guns blazing and put the other guy out of action. He has a warrior's mentality, regardless of his chin. Personally, I find that far more important than a physical part of himself that cannot be changed. I was never a big fan of Khan, but this chin rubbish has made me support him more and more -- it irritates me to see people putting others down because of such a silly element. If you're going to attack a fighter (someone getting their head caved in for a living) at least attack them on something with a bit more value and substance to it.
:yep:yep:yep:yep That was Chinchecking at its finest Zak. You called Khan getting knocked out vs the first puncher he faced, and you even called the EXCUSES his nuthuggers would say when it happened. Fine work sir. :happy:happy:happy:happy
Hell yeah. Thanks for bringing this one back. One of the things the fanboys and glass jaw deniers hate about the Chicheckers is that we often expose their faves. They cannot stand it when their heroes' flaws are pointed out, so they turn to attacking us personally. No matter - I will continue to expose the truth of the china chin, whereever I see it!
I had a vision of Amir Khan's father in tears when he gets knocked out in 2011. It ended with Jim Lampley saying something about a frozen silence. I am pretty good with my predicitons and root for Khan he is a terrific boxer. Hope that does not happen.
Ah, another one who doesn't recognize the importance of punch resistance in the sport of boxing, and denies the obvious reality that glass jaws exist in boxing. Let you fellow glass jaw deniers and Khan nuthuggers keep trying to convince yourselves that your hero is George Chuvalo. Me, I'm just gonna laugh like hell when he gets laid out cold again - which WILL happen. Count on it.:yep
You lame brained ******. Do you understand what he's saying? OF COURSE THERE ARE BOXERS with poor punch resistance or bad chins. Everyone knows that. The point is that for a guy to step into the ring with a poor chin takes a tonne of heart, courage and determination. In fact fighting with a poor chin deserves even more respect than a guy with a great chin. Of course a partially ******ed ****** like yourself would never understand that with your near sexual obsession with glass chins.
I don't necessarily argue with that, of course it takes courage to step in the ring if you know you can't take a punch well. What I don't get is what is wrong with pointing out if a fighter has a glass jaw, if it's something that "everyone" knows? And if "everyone" knows it, why do all these fanboys come out of the woodwork saying unprovable garbage like "that punch woulda KOd anybody?" :huh See, I would have any argument with anyone if "everyone" actually did seem to know that glass jaws exist in boxing. But they don't - as these threads demonstrate. Even in the face of clear evidence of a china chin, the fanboys still try to deny and make excuses.
Why would someone question the existance of poor punch resistance. Its bloody obvious. Some guys are stronger, some slower, some have better defence, some are better at spacing... naturally there are those who can take a punch better. And its all mainly genetics. Look at Mustafa Hamsho (I would assume since you are all about glass jaws you would know who he is) dude has one of histories best chins P4P... he took all the punishment he did and he's fine todays doesnt slur a word talks ok... Compare that with a Meldrick Taylor, you can barely understand a word he says... Point aside - so what if some fighters have glass chins. Roy Jones Jr is 10 times the fighter that iron chinned fighers like Chuvalo or Mustafa Hamsho ever were.
Khan is a complete disgrace. A Glass Jawed fraud. Maidana had to go to the WBA to force Khan to even fight. :roflatsch
mother****er shut the **** up and go suck ur mum with ur glass jaw trolling ****. Your ***** stinks u ****ing ****. I am sick to the back teeth of ur ****ing jaw posts u ****ing maniac! Go get a blowjob off your sister instead posting total and utter ****ing bollocks! :hi:
damn....this guy got it right way before it happened....he'll get that chin broke by marcos..if bredis fukin prescott can do it than i dont see khan being able to take it...
