don't know if the guy today will get him but when he fights an elite puncher his Glass Jaw will be shattered into a million pieces.

He doesn't even show good defence abilty, He has very fast hands and good power but he's defence has to be improved to cover that chin.

It's entirely possible that the guy he's fighting will lay him out cold. This is the first guy Khan's fought with a significant KO percentage. If the % is for real, it could be goodnight for this glass-jawed fraud.

I have noticed that Warren has matched Khan with fighters that have a below 50% KO rate for much of his early career. That is usually the first sign of a Promoter knowing his fighter has Chin issues.

Can't really agree or disagree, it's not tested at the high level yet, maybe tonight's fight will prove a lot.

The first time that Khan fights a bona-fide lightweight that doesn't have a 'smoke and mirrors' record it will be all over.

The Limond fight was a little early for him, as ESB member Willie has faced (and beaten) a fair few decent opponents - but again most of those were at super feather.

Against Limond, he was Pavlik in Rd. 2 against Taylor in their first fight, one punch away from going, having been given a generously long count by the official having been decked very heavily.

The Gomez fight was a strange one - Michael was shot to bits, but has the heart of a lion, and as a pressure fighter was a style of opponent that Amir had yet to face. Throw in the the fact that he was a banger (at 130 granted) and you have a worthwhile exercise. The one thing that this fight exposed was the fact that Khan cannot fight on the inside for toffee - get on his chest or under his arms and he is clueless.

A brutal KO waiting to happen

Hype train will be derailed as soon as he fights any good lightweights. Hell I think a random fighter from Mexico can beat him.

yeah thats bang on once he fights any top 10 lightweight im sorry it will be lights out khan, because he can not handle pressure or a deacent punch, it doesnt even have to be a powerhouse boxer just a boxer with good pop and deacent timing can take him out as we seen in limond fight (limond not a hard puncher was a super featherweight)

I agree. I would have bet v-cash on Khan getting knocked out, had I not heard that Khan's new trainer (Jorge Rubio) has already been in the opposite corner to Prescott when one of his fighters fought him not so long ago. Why would Khan's NEW trainer risk putting him in with a really dangerous KO puncher in his first fight in charge? Surely Prescott can't be that good? It would be far too big a risk. Still with a chin like Khan's (even if Prescott is not the banger his record would suggest), Prescott might still have more than enough pop to get him out of there.

i'm sure khan will win a world title in the next year or two, but how may belts and at how many weights depends on how he develops as he's stepping up in class.

Yeah yeah yeah . . . I've read the same thing over and over again since 2 years ago.

And I'm getting tired of it.

How about trying anew one . . . how about a glass balls this time? :D

    The insight is unparalleled.

I think everybody with any grasp on reality noticed this by the time the Limond fight rolled around, if not earlier. He's clearly not granite chinned, but he's quick, skilled and hasn't been in a dull fight yet. He may not be the greatest fighter arund, but he's plenty entertaining and that's enough to get me to watch him.

**** paying 15 quid to watch him whip this guy tonight, though.
