You are right. Khan has speed but has never corrected the fault of "falling in" when he throws a combination. I think he is also very vulnerable to head and body, but in fairness has courage as he showed against Maidana.
As much as I used to like/support Khan, his stupidity is what puts me off completely. All he does in there is try hard to impress twitter queers and prove he has an iron chin rather than using defense, speed, reach and overall ability to its max to further resume his career. Sure it's exciting to see him talk smack and hit the deck but when he has the ability to avoid it, it's damn frustrating. Sadly, it's too late for him to change his style. He's going to continue doing his thing till he's knocked out cold and forced into retirement. He could get 10 new trainers and nothing will change this far in his career.
As fast as he is, he remains predictable as he jumps in with his one twos. Garcia timed him, someone else eventually will(Molina did numerous times but lacked power).
Holt destroys julio diaz in 3 rounds, but khan goes life and death with him. So do us a favor, and Stfu.
Chin is questionable, heart is up there with the best. He's entertaining to watch and always looks for the big fights. If only he wasn't so c.o.c.k.y.
Did you ever see Khan quit when the going gets tough. If he gets caught with a good shot, he goes to war. This is his instincts, he is a true fighter at heart. Khan is actually a very good fighter who takes a lot of **** from idiots on this forum.
Agree 100%, not sure why he gets soo much stick. He's nearly always in exciting fights and is not afraid to fight anyone, anywhere even if he's a belt holder and has to go to there back yard. He doesn't cheat like Peterson and many others, he doesn't quit even when he's getting beat up like Judah and many others. I mean how many top boxers have you seen quit and collect there money with a smile on there face, Ortiz, Judah, Scott etc, the list is endless! The idea wouldn't even enter his mind, he's got more pride. Poor chin, massive heart.
**** fanboy thread. Just watch Khan's last fight for any proof you need about how **** his chin is. Its worse than Roy's.
He has an epic bad chin. I give him major props for going as far as he went in his career. Still stunned that Maidana couldn't knock him out. A Maidana KO would be my pick if there were an immediate rematch, a rematch even now, and probably would be my pick for any future scenario if they should ever rematch. Any hopes that were had that Garcia just flaunted major power that night were flushed down the toilet when Khan was shaken all over the ring by Julio Diaz and escaped on my card with a 1 point victory (I'm usually good with remembering this sort of thing, but I may have scored it a draw now that I typed that and think about it). Even when Khan got hit by Molina in that total cupcake of a fight it crossed my mind "he could go down!" because he does not take punches well at all. Now he's no longer at his peak. I feel he has declined in almost every facet of his skillset between the Judah and Garcia fights. A lot of what made Khan special and able to overcome his weak chin deteriorated overnight.
The Khan hype got very annoying for a while and yes he obviously will always have dodgey whiskers at world level but in all fairness most of the idiots trying to take the **** out of him on here have never boxed. You do not win an Olympic medal and a world title if you have a class chin because you will have to take a few good shots in order to do it. Simple as that. At world level, it is still weak though.
