Can't he say he's doing jihad or something and be exempted? Short of that, can't he fly on his magic carpet to turn back time?

Serves him right for being a dick head and pandering to Mayweather, "please pick me oh great one". "Please vote for me" Instead of doing what every other fighter does an puts himself in a position (by beating other decent fighters) so that through public demand the fight has to be made. I think in the voting farce he only got 30 or 40 thousand votes so it just shows you, A) not many people were bothered about the fight and B) his however many followers on twitter aren't real or arsed about boxing.

Too early to discuss September, still a long way to go and many fight results to come.

Unless cotto shocks the world june 7th. Weather cotto wants to fight June then september is debatable.

If khan had fought and could have defeated Alexander last December like it was plannned. Then the fight could have been made.

He and Alexander exchanged words last August as far as I remember and Khan came out publicly claiming that Alexander wants none of him. Alexander's team immediately, literally hours after Khan's twitter victory, responded rather colorfully and openly stated they're ready to negotiate if Khan is serious. Khan ignored and went back to twitter. Both had a long time to make the fight and Alexander put everything on hold as he hoped Khan offers the challenge. Nothing came from Khan and his team so they moved on. Khan deserves all the embarrassment he's getting now.

Here's my thread on the topic back when it happened: http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=485079

Khans career has got to ride the Al Haymon hype machine in full effect for a couple of months now, free of charge. He will probable get at least $1M more for his next fight purely on this whole debacle than he would without.
He has nothing to complain about.:thumbsup
