I think it's the other way around. He has the skills, not the style. That hands up high, no movement, come straight in style won't work against Floyd.

 

No way. Khan hasn't matured yet. PBF will toy with him. When Floyd gets to 38, perhaps then.

 

Khan now has a decent defence with a high guard, he punches in combinations a lot of the time, his handspeed is blazingly fast, and he has one hell of a jab. He's also got pretty good reach, and a good size for the weight.

On paper, that looks like it could actually pose Floyd quite a few issues...but then you remember that Khan has a paper chin, and nowhere near enough skill or experience to hang with Floyd. Malignaggi was doing a pretty good job of making him miss in the early rounds, making him overreach himself and catching him coming in. Floyd would have a field day -- he'd pick Khan apart. Even that great jab Khan has would probably get timed with a straight-right pull-counter at some point. Floyd could beat him any way he wanted -- he could stand and fight, or outbox him on the outside. Either way, a particularly big counter would catch Khan lunging in, and it would end in a KO or TKO.

 

End of fight....
