Khan is still very rough. He's fast but not fast enough. He needs to throw more accurately to even compete with Mayweather. Sorry. As much as I like what Khan did to Mallifaggy, he's not in that level yet.

your obviously quite touched by Amir Khan. I think hes a pretty decent boxer but how can you come to this conclusion just because he gave paulie malignaggi problems.

Exactly. Why Paulie seemed to believe that looping punches thrown from a shorter man would arrive sooner than straight punches from a man with greater reach is beyond me.

Khan has skills, do not get me wrong. However, I want to see how he responds when someone fires back with either precision (Floyd) or tremendous authority (Maidana).

Yup. To listen to some of these folks, you'd think that handspeed is a novel attribute for Brits.

Khan has speedy hands but he isn't Flash f*cking Gordon.

Ok, he certaintly has the speed and the jab, he keeps his hands high protecting that weak chin, but he was not unhittable, for 4 rounds it was close, Floyd has a lot of pop and can hurt you, Floyd is not a KO artist but his shots hurt, and Khan is a smaller guy, Floyd wobbled Shane at times, What would he due to a smaller Khan with a chin in question.

Khan can probably win more rounds then Shane and Baldomir combined but that equals like 3 or 4.

I feel Floyd if he wants to will stop Khan

Floyd had Moseley in the palm of his hand and did not stop him

Floyd had JMM in his palm and did not stop him which I think was by choice

Floyd will hit him at will and if he wants to stop him will if he wants to embarrass him over 12 he will

Mayweather would kill amir....He is just as fast, way faster than paulie....better footwork than khan, and is probably the best counter-puncher in the game today....and would kill the offensive mided khan...

Yeah, Froch stinks. Plain and simple. Khan has some excellent tools, but he has to diversify his offense and demonstrate that he can handle a hard hitter or someone willing to fight back.

Maidana is an excellent start toward that goal. Maidana is certainly there to be hit (see the Ortiz fight), but he's a tough hombre that can crack.
