When Brook has the 147 IBF, Khan will be of absolutely no relevance to Brook apart from domestic dispute. As a Brit I'd love to see this fight so I can head up to Sheffield and watch Khan get KTFO by Brook

People saying "so and so has no relevance":

This fight will almost always be relevant in England. This is England's Pacquiao-Mayweather.

And for whatever reason, Khan seems to stay "relevant" even though he keeps getting his azz kicked.

    Clueless.

Brook's been begging for a Khan fight for ages. He knows it's him that he'll make his name off. Khan can lose two more back-to-back fights, and Eddie Hearn will still be barking his name. They don't give two shits if he's winning or not. They know a fight with him sells regardless.

Trust me mate I'm English and as I said above I want to see this fight. But out side of a domestic rivalry most people outside of UK won't be too bothered. Although once Brook finishes Alexander maybe the world will pay more attention to him. I think khan is still relevant at 140, but to move up to 147 sacrificing more power and risking "that" chin against harder hitters is a stupid risk akin to fighting Prescott which saw Khan fire the guy who arranged his fights due to the mismatch

Mate at 147 Khan has no pedigree having never fought there. While the domestic fight is indeed alluring it will be winning the IBF that makes Brook's name worldwide. The only clueless one is you and speaking as someone who wants this fight made I still think that Khan needs Brook more than Brook needs Khan. Once Brook has the title he will command the terms of the fight and at 147 should have no problem with Khan.

    Don't embarrass yourself further

That is the worst thing Khan could do, Brook's jab>>>Khan's jab.

Tbh Khan once tweeted he doesn't want to fight for the IBF lol. He was once their champ hahaha.

All the brits come across very bitter... Khan has accomplished a lot in this game. Yes he has a suspect chin but tbh he is fighting the best. Most people start their pro careers at 25 and Khan is already a 2 time world super champ. That said, Khan can extend his shelf life by having a more patient attack, not fighting for his 'fans' and just following the gameplan(s) set by Virgil.

The thing i'm suprized with is he has done really well for himself considering he can't fight going backward's, is 1D, poor ring awareness and balance. Hopefully these are things Virgil is working on with Khan.

His recent interviews come across as a masked Khan... who is thinking before he speaks and is more appreciative to the sport as a whole. I like this new Khan. Another thing I like about Virgil is he actually picks his fighters opponents and builds them up to a super-fight. Khan has said many times that he used to force his team to sign fights on. Cos tbh I don't think many casual fans appreciate and understand how many times he has defended his WBA belt against so many Top rated 10 opponents.

 Who gives a **** if you're speaking as someone who wants the fight made? Because Hearn certainly doesn't and he disagrees with your notion that holding a world title is more important than fighting Khan: "The only possible fights that could stop us going for the world title are Khan or Hatton"

Even Brook himself disagrees with you: "I would be very hungry for Khan if it came along before the world title challenge. It is personal. The things that he said about me in the past have made it personal. I want to take him out."

World title or not, or having fought at 147 or not, Khan is still a name and Brook's people would fight him (or Hatton) before anyone else. They know he's an easy opponent, and easy money.

You make a valid point, but for myself, my opinion on this statement depends on the context Khan made it in. If he was asked if he'd be interested in the Brook fight if Brook beats Alexander, then it's fair enough that Khan has said yes. That would show his willingness to take on a title-holder sooner rather than later.

IF, however, Khan has been spouting off as though he has some kind of leverage or final say in the matter, then I do think that Brook should keep him hanging. After all, Khan was quick to scoff at the idea of fighting Brook before*, and I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if Khan were trying to talk himself back into contention rather than earning his shot, similar to what he tried with Mayweather, until Peterson & Garcia derailed Khan's plans. what goes around, comes around, and Khan should realise that if you trample someone on your way up, they'll usually be more than willing to kick you on your way down.

*Not to mention Khan's steadfast refusal to grant rematches to Maidana or McCloskey (ignoring for now whether they were deserved), when he himself had his team pulling out all the stops to prevent Peterson from moving on. People in glass houses (and with glass chins), and all that...

He only tweeted that as a reaction to the IBF not stripping Peterson

Still, the IBF thing could give Khan another excuse to duck Brook.

He said it in an interview with the Scene of Boxing. He was told about the Alexander-Brook matchup, and was asked if he would then fight Brook if he wins, to which he said a fight with him will make sense if that's the case. He's been basically saying that all along: tell Brook to do something of note before he calls me out.

:think With the way Carson got inside, I doubt it. Khan has good timing when he stays behind the jab and has a speed advantage Brook has never seen before.

In any case, he's not going to give up his height and start trying to go JCC on him.
