I remember people talking about Khan's jab after the Paulie fight. Shame he doesn't use it and with variation.

His best performance IMO, I think he'll be trying to get back to that. Double up the jab, and get comfortable blocking shots and coming back with right hands, etc. Keeping the combinations short and sweet.

That seems fair enough then, really. The only proviso I'd add is that Khan's no longer in the driving seat the way he was prior to Peterson. Regardless of him having a better CV than Brook, Khan's not in much of a position to say to Brook "you've finally proven yourself worthy", not after his (Khan's) last two fights. Unfortunate timing really, for Amir, because now he's gonna look a lot more like he's chasing Brook than vice versa, unless he's careful and watches what he says (which isn't really Khan's strong point).

no, not on a regular basis... only when he was with FW and now because he is coming from a KO loss
maidana, peterson, garcia, kotelnik, judah, malignaggi are light welters...are you stupid?

All i can say is some Brits are so butt hurt about Khan that they just diss him and put him down all the time. Im not a big fan of his but I give him respect for wanting to fight the best and giving value for money. I dont remember the last time when one of his fights we boring. As far as Brook dosent need khan bull...who has Brook fought?? Ricky hattons little punk brother? who has he fought?? Khans fought and beat many of the top 140 fighters! Stop birng butt hurt and judge boxers on their boxing and not on other things which are out of their control i.e. the colour of their skin!!

khan said he would fight him after hatton fight...then denied it

khan may of got more respect coming through if he had fought many of the british fighters who were all ahead of him when he come through, but they got avoided, well the decent ones did anyways, maybe not him more so his promoter, but i would of liked to see khan go after the british title when he first started and got in with the numerous guys who called him out, but seemed from early on he was "above" those guys

Why..whats the point in fighting more British fighters?? Whats the point in going after the British title if you can go after a world title? He clearly was above those guys in terms of his ability hence why he didn't take that route. Besides which fighters are you talking about Andy Murray ?? He would have got slaughtered yes he would have had a punchers chance and thats it same as the other ones he apparently avoided. I would much prefer a boxer to go for a world title ASAP than stay and fight domestic fighters till their record gets padded and then lose to the first decent european fighter they face !!

No one knows Kell Brook outside of UK with the exception of die hard boxing fans. Thus, far he has only beat Euro level fighters. Khan has much greater accomplishment there is no comparison. A victory over Alexander could change that for Brook. However, it will not change the fact that Brook is and will will remain an unknown outside of UK even after beating Alexander.

That is, he will need Khans name. Look what Khan did for Peterson, McClosky and Garcia.
Brook has much to gain from fighting Khan in fact it will be his biggest payday which is why he wants Khan though Khan fights at 140 and has 2 back to back losses.

It will be Brook's call if he wins. Khan has no chips to bargain with.

Brook spanks Alexander and then retires Khan.

what he was above them when he first come through? he came with a big reputation yeah from olympics, dont make you "above" others who were in line, or in front or what have you, john murray may not of beaten him, i doubt he would, was more of using it as a point, in terms of he would of gained more respect cleaning up his own patch then making his world title challenges, i know everybody would go for world honours, but asking why he aint respected, my guess is he didnt fight the best fighters here on his way up and through the ranks, credit to him for the way he gone about his business but id of respected him more fighting uk fighters, enough called him out, murray (john)kev mitchell to name a couple, not saying either of those beats him or would of done, just in terms of why he aint got the respect maybe he deserves, talking of padded records, imo he got looked after well, early on in his career, had he taken out the fighters here i would of respected him more, not that i dont as last few years he took on some big fights

    You guys are children.

Khan continues to accept huge challenges where other fighters won't. Yet some of you clowns just hate, hate, hate.

He left Roach because Roach is a shitty trainer. Stop letting your obsession with Manny's dick blind you from the truth that the Manny/Roach coupling is built on deceit.

Roach is bad. Manny is bad. Amir is smart to leave. Good going Amir :happy:happy

Khan is far superior name in england and usa, if Brooks beats khan, he becomes a household name, along with that comes the money, that is the biggest chip a boxer can hold. Khan like him or not won't ever go away until he retires, no matter how many time's he loses, he will find a way to collect a paycheck
