Timing and countering Khan is becoming harder and harder due to Roach tuning/training Khan, and with the his use of reach, handspeed and covering up/guard.

Khan is fast improving under Roach, and if Khan can clean up the 140 division in the next 12 months starting with Maidana, then i am giving him a good chance to beating anyone.

I think 147 is and will be Khan's best weight(made for his height and frame), Floyd needs to fight Pac soon, because soon a fighter named Amir Khan is coming to 147 and everyone up there better watch out.

I'm not saying he definetly would. I'd favour Mayweather if the two fought by KO.

But out of everyone who can make 147. The people who have the best chance at beating Mayweather are:
    1) Manny
    2) Williams
    3) Khan

I agree. I think he should bring up his experience over the course of the year though. But outside experience Khan has a good style vs Floyd. It would be poetic justice if Floyd loss to Khan.

Khan is a superb fighter, but comparing him to Floyd right now is a bit premature. As of this moment in time, Floyd would school Amir round by round, simply punishing him and his inexperience in the ring. Mayweather would simply not get hit. He is not Paulie, just bouncing around in predictable manner. No, not yet. Its a guaranteed loss for Amir.

Boxing is all about timing, in 12 months Floyd will be close to hitting 35, on the other hand Khan will be coming near his prime hitting 25.

Its the new taking on the old, Khan in 12 months could make Floyd look his age in the ring and shock him.

Definitely possible. He would need to change his style a but, as the way he fought Paulie would not help in a fight with Floyd...

As you know these top fighters with their top trainers coming up with top gamplans and tactics.

Roach i am sure would try his best to give Khan the best possible training to beating Floyd.

Eventually there will be a point in time where Khan can beat mayweather being that he is so young and improving and mayweather is 34 and declining.

But now or in the next year or two? No way, not even close.

He's got to win rounds to win a decision. Floyd is too accurate, in my opinion. After about the three rounds, Floyd will start countering the crap out of Khan. He'd stop him after about 6-7.

This is the problem for Khan, now, and even a year down the line. He is relying on Roach to come up with tactics, etc...Mayweather is not. Khan doesn't possess the in ring intelligence, or the experience at this point to even make a competitive bout with Mayweather.

As did Floyd use his father's tactics when he was around Khan's age.

Khan is still only 23, a baby in the sport, yet he has already seen alot.

Roach might make/give Khan gamplan, but Khan's speed, skillset, range finding/holding are natural gifts just like Floyd has.

If you actually believe Khan could outbox PBF to a UD victory then I suggest you find a new sport.
