He really, really doesn't - and I like Khan. Mayweather is far, far too accomplished for Khan at this stage in Khan's career. This would be a thorough outclassing, which would develop into a beatdown in the later rounds. Pacquiao is the only guy in that weight region at the moment with the mental strength, physical prowess and boxing attributes necessary to defeat Mayweather.
Yes I do. An Old De La Hoya nearly did. Khan would come in with the tools to do so. And Mayweather truggle with quick fighter. Zab could out box floyd eary on. Floyd would not easilly outbox Khan. Not even close. He'd probably win by Ko'ing that suspect chin. But I disagree floyd could easily outbox khan.
But Mayweather at that age still displayed a lot more in-ring intelligence than Khan has shown up to this point. Khan's best performances have been following Roach's tactics down to a tee. And it still comes down to Khan not having nearly enough experience to make a competitive bout with the Elites of this sport (Mayweather or Pacquiao).
Yes he would. You may believe Khan has the tools...but he doesn't have the experience! Also, De la Hoya never nearly beat Mayweather...rewatch the bout.
i could argue, but looking at your previous comments, you fit the sterotype defenition of a *****. So there is no point.
just because he outboxed an oversized marquex and an old Mosley (who struggled against Mora) Does not mean he'll outbox everyone easilly. Khan is very fast and has height and reach over mayweather. It would be a good close fight.
The type of boxer Floyd has been and still is requires intelligence from the start, defence boxers have to be the most disciplined. Khan had displayed great offensive skills from day one, but Roach was brought in because his chin did not support that style so had to be adjusted. But of course Floyd right now has great ring IQ over Khan, but Khan's biggest weapon when mastered respects nothing SPEED.
Are those the only two bouts you have seen of Mayweather? I know your answer is going to be no...but surely those can't be your only examples of why Khan can outbox Mayweather. Height and reach means near enough nothing in boxing, whereas experience means almost everything. (over-exaggerating but oh well). Once Mayweather times that jab that Khan has found under Roach...the bout will be over...and it will not be close.
There's not a boxer on the planet that can outbox PBF period end of discussion.:deal You actually think Khan has the ring IQ to outsmart PBF?atsch PBF would take Khan's jab away and he would be lost. Khan's footwork and defense aren't good enough not to mention he's a buit one-dimensional. PBF will counter Khan with something he doesn't see hurt him and Khan would go into a shell for the rest of the fight before getting stopped.
