I don't believe a win over Porter is enough, personally. Every other of his opponent has been underwhelming for me. I prefer a number of world level opponents than all of them being domestic and one being a good opponent (who has a brilliant case for a draw). Khan could've easily piled up so many domestic/euro level wins, it's a career route I'm not very fond of as a sidenote.
Brook at 147 despite the orbital bone, is exceptional though and I would pick him to beat Khan in their matchup.
Yeah, that was the Lamont Peterson fight.

And Khans chin is barely English area title level of robustness.

    Whats your point again?

khan is better than brook on resume at least, of that theres no question - anyone with more than one world class win is better than Kell. Lets hope we get a resolution of the H2h question one day soon.

I'm disputing it  I think he had a 'good' career, but no way near great.
His wife and family are just a strange, strange group. She strikes me and I think any guy as one of those money grabbing cold women who is just too difficult to trust. She's a lot smarter than him and I think she has him eating from the palm of her hand.

When he got married, he just plummeted as a fighter. People change and they don't need to fight for 'something' as they get older, additionally.

Khan has a bad chin, but fighters can still be prime with a bad chin.

This. He has a Glass Jaw and fights like a robot. Khan couldn't fight.

Khan has never totally lived up the hype - but from when he beat Kotelnik up to the Cheaterson fight he was world class. His chin has let him down numerous times and his boxing IQ saw him get starched by Garcia in a fight where he was landing at will. Paulie, Maidana (don't tell me he was green he had 29 fights at this point), even Zab while past his best had just won a vacant belt by KO so a solid win. Are decent victories

I cant see him getting a belt again at 147 he doesnt hit hard enough is too vulnerable to anyone with a dig and im not sure hunter is the right trainer for him

Say what you want about Khan but he is as brave as they come and is always in exciting fights.
Yes his chin is vulnerable but that adds to the excitement.
He has great natural abilities...hand speed, timing, coordination, respectable power.
He's a little bit thick though, hence his low boxing iq.
he needs to learn to use lateral movement and angles and learn to ride punches and counter. The way he moves in and out in straight lines it's only a matter of time before he walks into a shot At full power and we all know what happens.
He's always value for money though and I'll be tuning in when he fights again

Khan is a Glass Jawed joke who massively overachieved because of his very careful matchmaking and push he had from the Olympics because of his background.

    The guy didn't waste anything.

And he doesn't punch very hard....Breadman did a good post about Khan being too fast for his own boxing IQ a while back on the seen.

Khan did at one time say that Brook would have to fight Spence first but in the end negotiations came to a point where a guaranteed figure was offered by Khan's people that Brook would not accept. It was a career high payday in excess of the ggg purse. Brook figured it to be 30% of revenue that the fight would generate. He thought he was worth more and walked away from negotiations. Hearn thought he should have taken it. Khan stood to lose money if the fight did not sell as well as expected. Whether Khan would have made an excuse to back out of the fight if it had been made we will never know. He made no effort to push for the fight by upping the offer but Brook was the the one that would not accept. They just couldn't come to any sort of agreement with the money and Brook was more to blame. He ended up fighting for less money against a better opponent and got messed up. He would probably beaten Khan and come out of it in on piece with his stocks still high. Khan ended up with no fight and no money but he had made 3-4 times more in his career than Brook although it seems his family and managers have helped themselves to a good chunk of his fortune so he is probably looking for a couple more big paydays before he is through. Is pm a message inbox on my account? I had a look but can't find anything.

Brooks not a risk taker, khan is, or certainly was at one point. Brooks more of a minimum effort guy. One world class win in a whole career that he is still living off.

U can say he went up in weight, but he didnt go there to win.

A Mere Con has no business fighting anyone at this point. Well maybe Kell, but that is ALL. Amir Khan has a tiny little head. He will continue to get embarassed and knocked out cold if he keeps fighting.

He needs to stick to the jackie chan movies. Jackie Hand marathons...does he still get on skype does anyone know?

Tell ya what, if he really wants to come back...i want to see Khan vs. none other than... THAT HORNY HORNET !!!!!

No. He's made a lot of money and is no longer hungry. He can't beat any of the top WW's and his days are over. Who is he going to fight and who can he beat? Brook maybe? Can he beat Brook?

Khan treated Brook like Hatton treated Witter. He wouldn't fight him for some dumbass odd reason. Oh there goes the "fanbase argument" Joshua's fans love to talk about "because Wilder is an undefeated American" but criticized Floyd for telling Cotto he had no fanbase. Hypocrites, I don't forget.

To this day Hatton and Khan get very little respect from me and the boxing world. Dubious as this sounds, it's my truth lol.

Even with his ****ed up eyes, Kell would absolutely OBLITERATE a mere con.
